Here's me thinking I managed a great job getting the Drabble done.. and Clef_Hanger managed to Ninja me... Could a kindly Mod please help me out here and Add Clef_Hanger's Drabble to the poll?

It appears that against all expectations my drabble won, so it falls to me to set this week's topic - 'A simple plan'
Are you up for a challenge? Why not enter a Drabble in this week's competition? Drabbles are 100 words exactly (Excluding Title) and set loosely in the Elite Dangerous universe. We use www.wordcounter.net to verify the 100 word count, so be sure to check yours there too!
Insanephoton picked the topic for this week HOT off his victory and it is "A Simple Plan"
Entries to the poll are limited to the first 20 Drabbles submitted, and the poll might go up earlier than Thursday night if all those slots are filled, but don't let that stop you from showing us what you would have entered in the contest.
Friday night the live readings occur http://twitch.tv/psykokow so don't miss it, all drabbles are read out... 7pm UK Time (whatever that may be since Kow never starts on time anyway).
Please bear in mind that this is a family forum, read by little people with impressionable minds and old folks who are easily shocked. We want as many people as possible to feel comfortable on this thread. Don't write anything that you wouldn't want to read out in front of your family. It may appear a little hypocritical of me to ask you to watch your language. I myself sometimes find it difficult to know what is and isn't acceptable. The rule of thumb I use is that if something I've said makes Listeri69 laugh then I've went too far.

A matter of conscience
A small group of people had already assembled as the Cobra landed on the pad. As the ramp settled down, tension mingled with fog in the air, as a suited figure walked down the steps and climbed back up onto a makeshift platform of cargo canisters, all in silence.
“Dear friends, I am glad you could make it.” He said. What he said next visibly disturbed the spectators. When he finished, one of them spoke out, voice heavy with contempt.
“So your plan truly is to wretchedly bribe them into voting for our Drabble?”
“As simple as that.” He confirmed.
