No worries, I knew that this misunderstanding was because you overlooked the fact that im not playing the english version of the game.. but you see: "sloppy translations can cause wars"

It's the first time I have mined for a CG, and it is a lot better than I remember way back.
The problem is finding the correct metal in any big quantities.
I am also doing the combat CG but need to switch all the mining stuff off and my combat stuff on due to power issues on my Anaconda, so not good when I meet another Anaconda which is wanted.

I just spotted this in game. A bit rusty on the hunting my self, but I managed to dust of the old Vulture in Jameson and bring it to Varati. I haven't used it since 1.4 was released, but i managed to hand in about 1.5 mill today.
I'm wanted in Varati now. It's a bit unpractical. :-/
Yeah that happens to me too from time to time. It's only a 8min cool-down though, if you don't happen to kill anyone. Just jump to another system (1h-jump required to get rid of it after the 8min period) and hang your head in shame for a bit
- I actually wanted to bring my Vulture too, but then i was interdicted in my mining Python twice and figured it was a lot more fun in combat than i thought. Enjoying the BH-CG much, and with 5billion in the bank already it seems like i'm not alone

Haven't tried with this particular CG but bought never counted if it had to be mined. I guess it's by design but I don't really see why. It's the same stuff and if you buy you're almost certainly spending a lot more than you make from the tier.
Just thought I'd mention, anyone doing the miner protection mission, there is a couple of RES way out at: VARATI BC 6.
It's about 23kLs so it's a flight out there... but re-jumping back into the system is the quickest way back to THOMPSON DOCK to cash in bounties.
I'm sure most of you know all this but thought I'd mention it.

Does anyone know a station (large landing pads) that gives mining missions? Currently I'm just going from Thompson Dock to metallic rings and back, but there are no mining missions in Thompson Dock that I've seen so far, and it would be nice to stop in at a station that has them, to supplement my income.
(What I like to do is at the end of a gaming session, instead of selling my mined materials, dock somewhere with missions. That way I can log into the game from time to time and check for mining missions, accept them, and complete them on the spot from the wares in my hold. Since it's just navigating the station menu I don't even need my gaming pc, I can do missions from my laptop when I have a few minutes spare. But... there are no mining missions at Thompson Dock so my income isn't what it used to be)

Wow, first time involved in a community goal. Have handed about 5mil in bounties in at Thompson from the High RES site on Varati BC 7 and thought I might try my luck in the Haz RES at Varati BC 6. Started of okay just picking of singles and anyone ganging up on miners and I managed to tag on the back of a viper that was double teaming a python with another python (not in a wing). Funny thing is though that as the python succumbed to the double up I received a kill wanted bounty on my head even though I was tackling the viper?? Certainly didn't make any wayward shots as I didn't receive any initial 200cr warning so what is going on there?
Have managed to make it into the top 25% contribution group and now this will certainly get in the way of being of more assistance. A sui-sidey is out of the question as I have about half a mil in unclaimed bounties and missions and about 200k in exploration data still to cash in
