Let's continue with the pangolin exhibit and the elephant house...

For the elephant house I used as an inspiration the one located at the Warszawa Zoo. I decided to put the pangolins there as they are inside the elephant house at Leipzig. So, this elephant house is the home of the Asian elephants and the pangolins. Around it, there are exhibits for other Asian animals, like the Asian rinos and the Formosan black bears.

I plan to upload this building to the workshop, but it will be just the structure, without any of the decorations and without the pangolin indoor exhibit. The idea is just to give the base so everybody can customise it.

Now, let's take a look to the outdoor part of the Asian elephants exhibit. Visitors can see the animals from a lot of different points. The first point is an elevated viewpoint and this place is where the animal talks take place. At the background you can see the elephant house and its access to the indoor area:

The ground level path that runs along the exhibit has no visual barriers for the visitors:

One of the favourite spots of the visitors is the zone just in front of the water, as they can see the elephants taking a bath:

And before continuing with the next exhibits around the elephant house, let's take a look to the general view of the entire zoo:

At this moment I'm busy with the penguin house (not visible on this picture as I'm building them on a different map) and trying to finish the decoration around the seals exhibit (can you spot it on the map?

). After it, I will probably start renewing some older exhibits and finishing the tropical hall with the addition of the giant otters and Cuvier's caimans.

It will be a hard work to upgrade the rock formation of the entire zoo, but the new rocks look much better

The renewal of the old part of the zoo continues, along with the renewal of the fake rocks. The former rhino exhibit has been completely demolished and now two new exhibits has been built the, one for grey seals and other for cassowaries. As the seals exhibit still needs some final touches, I'll show you the one for cassowaries:

After a small break to show some of the fake rock improvements, I'll continue showing the zone around the elephant house. The next exhibit is for the black bears.

The design is quite simple. The separation between animals and visitors is a pit. There's a part of the exhibit that is more or less at the same level than visitors to offer a better view of the animals.

Sorry for the delay to continue showing the rest of the zoo but I had no time.

As I promised, here's the rhino's exhibit. It consists in two different exhibits but one is empty, waiting for some other species to be released. The exhibit it's actually shared with Indian peafowls.

I've been rebuilding many old parts of the zoo, specially all the area around the big cat's house. I still need to build some few exhibits and I think that the zoo will be ready to be published (but it will be in continuous development

As mentioned on my last post, the area around the big cat's house suffered some modifications, so let's see them

The lion's exhibit is probably the one that remained almost the same. Their modifications are just an improvement of the fake rocks and some viewing points:

Cheetah's were moved to a completely new exhibit:

And their former exhibit was adapted for Bengal tigers. This is a temporary exhibit as currently I don't have more big (or smaller) cat's. Amur tigers are on the exhibit that is planned for Sumatran tigers if we get them some day.

Here you have an aerial view of all of them. On the left side of the image there are the cheetahs, on the bottom the lions and on the right side the Bengal tigers. The exhibit on the top is empty, waiting for some leopards or jaguars:

There are still things to show about this big cat's complex, but that will be on the upcoming posts

The entrance of the building has been improved. The big cat's complex it's called "Pavelló de felins", catalan name for "Cat's pavilion" (the name is not accurate as "felins" refer to Felinae subfamily, which doesn't include the big cats. The correct one should be "fèlids", but the other looks better

). I originally planned this building as a pavilion mainly for smaller cat species and maybe lions, but as there are no such species ingame and I don't think we will have any in a short or medium term I decided to turn it to a big cat's pavilion:

If I'm not wrong, I think I already showed the building from inside, but this part also suffered some small modifications, although it is still not finished:

Regarding the outdoor exhibits for big cat's, the only one remaining to show is the one for Amur tigers. Before, this exhibit has an indoor part inside the big cat's pavilion, but now the exhibit has been moved completely outside and the dormitories are located underground, nex to to the pavilion. The location of the outside exhibit it's almost the same than before.

The former exhibit only had one viewing area, but the new one included a new one at ground level:

Between this exhibit and the exhibit for Bengal tigers (former cheetah's exhibit) I had some empty space that I had to fill with an small exhibit. As I had no more cats to put on it, I had to build an exhibit for other random animal. In this case, I decided to build a small exhibit for the warthogs, but that if a new suid is released it will occupy it

Before continuing with the next exhibit, let's see the current status of the zoo from the air:

I started building this exhibit as soon as the Aquatic DLC was released. The former rhino exhibit was removed and replaced by two exhibits, one for cassowaries and other for grey seals.
This exhibit suffered some modifications before it's final form. Initially I planned something similar to the sea lion exhibit from Barcelona Zoo, with a central pool surrounded by a rocky surface, but I didn't like how it looked. The initial structure remained, but I removed many rocks and built some beaches.

The first time I saw wild seals was at Howth, Ireland. I was watching them at the harbour and also on a nearby beach (that's why I decided to put some beaches on the exhibit). I wanted to put something more to remember that, so I decided to build a small lighthouse similar to one on the same location (as this is a modest zoo I don't want to build a too "expensive" and big decoration structure
