Wowza! There's some awesome info' in there ... makes me want to go back to the drawing board with some of my own ships.

I've linked the entire "exploration for beginners" guide (which is all good) into the "Exploration" bit of "manuals, guides and other stuff for new players". It's slightly buried these days but I think if people are looking for this sort of info then they'll still find it and if they're looking for specific exploration ship builds then they'll find that too.

Added ArachAU's glorious (and sadly overlooked) map of noteable "local" nebula to the "useful reference lists" section.

Edit: also added Dizzy B High's excellent guide to unlocking guardian tech to the "mysterious things and lore" section.

Trending: a whole bunch of forum complaints appear to have fallen through a wormhole from the future, and Frontier have given us a new way to apply for player owned minor factions.

Also: I've added furrycat's astoundingly technical guide to the science of the new Guardian FSD booster to the "ships, weapon stat's, combat tips, etc" section and I've added Major Klutz's excellent guide to landing on high-g worlds to the "misc' other useful and/or interesting links" section.

To be honest there's an awful lot of really old stuff in here now (only some of which is still relevant) so it could probably do with a bit of an audit at some point in the not too distant future.

On which subject - if anyone ever spots any links that are broken or which point to stuff which is pretty much irrelevant to the current version of the game then do please let me know.

Trending: PC Gamer article on Stellar Forge + a bunch of random thread that have been entertaining me this week (not always for the right reasons).

Also - I've corrected an absolutely unforgiveable omission in the "regular newsletters, magazines, blogs, etc" section and added Lee Hutchinson's stunningly good FANGS comic strip and I've linked a superb description of the Thargoid story so-far by Thatchino into the "mysterious things and lore" section.
