I have a strong feeling we have our eyes and teeth set on the wrong target. These guys are just trying to get back what is theirs and survive against a much more potent threat. Let's not let miscommunication be the start of yet another conflict.

Yeah that's also what i feel like. I didn't get attacked once by a Thargoid ship yet, unless i deliberatly provoked them. I even got scanned with a thargoid cyclop sample in my hold, and it didn't trigger any hostile reaction...
