I picked up the UP after I was hyperdicted. Didn't pick the UA. Currently I'm trying to replicate it for the third time for the sake of my sanity. Then I'll try picking up the UA, dropping it and doing the same.

Edit: Picked up the UP after hyperdiction.

sorry got the confused on what you picked up. what I meant to say was can you pick up the UA and then drop it and see if it still works?

Sorry, my bad with wording.

- Had contact with UA before hyperdiction
- Got hyperdicted with UA in cargo hold
- Lost UA due to cargo hold dmg
- Picked up UP afterwards in hope of second hyperdiction (no UA on board at this point)
- Found UA in USS, the rest as follows.

Theres a bug!

After trying some of the combinations Nicou has listed on his map (most of which arent on this topic yet), which I *have* tried before, I either:

Get a "Mission Critical Message" and nothing new appears, and the amount of money I get for turning the mission in increments by 1,000,000 signifying I found something.

Or, I get a "Mission Critical Message" and something appears there for a split second, goes away, and I get nothing. no matter how many times i rescan.

Can you pick up the UA then drop it. Then do the same as before with the UP?

I can, but once I pick up the UA and drop it it looses HP/Hull over time. If I don't pick it up it stays the same, so I have more time to try and aim it. It took me 30min to get that shot.

Yes... ive had the same a message from the Good Dr appears after a scan (for a split second) and then vanishes... when i next scan an object it appears again along side the new one.

Its like the messages are getting bottle necked.

Ah I wanted to see if the UA behavior change is due to it not being touched.

relog and the message appears. BUT for me 100% times is the message from ram tah about 2 objects yada yada, no inconsistency between data message received and money

I havent managed to get a new message for a few hours, despite trying half of the viable combinations. Nor has anyone posted any new messages on here or anywhere else I can find.

So I think that, perhaps, the server is too busy at the moment for this to work properly. With that said, Im done for the night. Ive put a solid 10 hours into this, and Im pretty happy with discovering a few new combinations, and I can finally say, I found something new in this game before anyone else did.

Im pretty happy with that.

Theres also the possibility that each of the items found here (not ust each type of item) is unique and yield different results. But since they stack, this seems unlikely.

I haven't read the past few pages yet. But are we sure the same combinations work for everyone? Or is there a chance there a some variations going on here?

This relic thing seems very broken - twice now on scan it has given me adjudiction server errors on scan and kicked me out of game - even though I can then instantly reconnect, - I got one combo to work early on - since then - message dissapears fast or gives the ram tah didnt work message. Worringly combos that others have posted that worked, have not for me - at any obelisk - I have a strong suspicion this is both bugged and that it's partly or possibly all just rng - which is really annoying as it would mean no community effort or methodical approach would work - it's dropping pennies in a one armed bandit - just put two of anything in hold and keep pressing scan till it gives you all the "data" for that particular ruins site - move to next (as yet undiscovered) site.
"New" ruins also look a bit lower rez texture wise and less complex than they were to me - not feeling too inspired by this :(

Anyone from Frontier like to confirm if results should be able to be reproduced - eg object A plus object B will, when used at point C always give message D ? cos right now it really doesn't look like it and I'm worried that's deliberate and not a bug.

I'm getting frequent disconnects (every two minutes), making progress for me a lot slower than usual. Finishing up Orb combined with everything else, didn't seem to get any data from an Orb Relic combo.

I was looking for the answer as well, it seems it's not certain.
The comment was, everyone who solve it will get the money, although it won't be easy. For me it means there's some randomness in it...

The comment is on page 767, bottom of it...
