This is cool, hopefully I can get to experience this one (tried many times to get Hyperdicted but no result).

I have scanned the thread but I don't see any mention of a confirmed location where this has happened (I have not watched any video to avoid spoiling the experience). Is Merop 5c good for this?

Really? I think a bit over-reactive because why would alien activity schedule itself according to what people are doing? Surely they do things in their own time.

Cmdrs have been taking meta-materials from the ruins for some while but I get the feeling we're still only a vagary in the visitors' perception at this stage. If the meta materials have been there around the ruins and barnacles for thousands of years, there might be some wastage to meteor strikes naturally that wouldn't surprise them and the aliens might be replenishing. I feel pretty sure though, that they would think, if the metas keep on vanishing, that's less natural. The chances of two meteor strikes within what, a year? Pretty slim.

So the aliens might be becoming aware, may percieve the galaxy in geological time and have hyperdicted and scanned ships, weapons and powerplants, feeling no threat. I think it's entirely plausible then that they're yet to turn their attention away from their own business.

Thank you again McJamz for assisting the Confederacy of Vulcan with this find and again welcome to the Confederacy. Looks like we finally found something before Cannon Research which means that finally Elite Dangerous has two major science factions now and that would make me proud, but I'm a Vulcan and pride is an emotion.
