I would guess that if you have backed the game already with £100, you could still upgrade to alpha. I would drop them an e-mail.

I'm back! Download commencing! So excited!
Hi all,
After installing Elite: Dangerous and clicking play, I get this error:
"The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)".
Apparently the way to fix it is running it in compatability mode. Anyone else able to help with this as running it in compatability mode. It fails for the launcher but works for the elite dangerous exe file in the product folder. Though, even though that works, it needs to log in so it ends up disconnecting me. Problem is with the launcher.
Also, I try to log in to the tech support via the E: D launcher and no matter how many times I get the security verification code right, it still says it's wrong.
Shok.
I can't login and password reset is complaining about a name field that isn't there.
Just completed Recon Wing, got nailed several times trying to complete that one!!!
Its already feeling like the most crisp combat I have felt in a game for a long time I'm getting a strong feeling of immersion. This is so very polished for an alpha Off to try Wolf Pack Tactics![]()
