So apparently the skybox at Colonia uses a different shader than the skybox back in the Bubble.... I just discovered this!

It was switching to VR (a Rift S owner myself as well) that made me pursue these modifications

With my recent modifications (personal, not published), I can actually loose enemy ships in the sun! Too bad it doesn't work the other way around.

Even just the fact that you have made the HUD have different colours for the different elements makes it look so much better!! I look forward to being able to do this for myself at some point in the near future I hope

Though I doubt I can ever release this to the public... Cosmetics are Frontier's Holy Grail. If nothing else, it shows they should (and could) offer us some good decays. I'd pay for them!

The decal too... Wow. I should love to have some WWII era "nose art" on my Clipper, it looks like it would be possible, at least.

Any chance of some hints as to where to start if one was going to tinker a bit?
