Wrong. We dont want feathers because that is a part of the lore behind Jurassic Park. If thats not understandable to you, then i dont understand how you can be for feathers. So they have to adhere to the books and the franchise. And Universal. We' as fans, have extremely little to do with the devs decisions. But the reasons are right out there in the open.
At the same time i'd like some feathered dinosaurs in the future. But i am absolutely not gonna start a political campaign for it like some other people do. But im very happy even without feathers.
"Im cancelling my preorder" level of "offended" going on with these rants. Right up there with mosasaur requests and flying reptiles.
You don't understand the fact that this is a game based off the Jurassic Park franchise? I actually want an option for feathers and I'm sick of this thread.
When the paying kids say: "What?! No feathers? *starts crying* I never wanna buy anything from JP franchise ever again!"
Then it all changes in favor of feathers. A new JP lore movie with feathers perhaps. It is all about money.

I get that. I simply just stated i dont like Dinosaurs with feather. Thank God they dicided not to change anything, even in the movies. They looks terrible with feathers.
With feathers they look more like Dragons. Hard to spot when in darkgreen colors and full feathered crests. Without feathers, they look like plucked chicken you find on the counter of a meat store.
If you mean big bird-looking dragons, then yeah sure. Just my opinion mate. Don't want a bunch of scary looking birds running around my park.

You do know that most dinosaurs didn't have feathers. The ones that did we know very little about how they were spread out, how thick etc.
There was plenty of all possible shapes and form, not only bird feathers, but hair-feathers, dragonscale hard "feathers", soft plates, hard plates, all colors of scales, all colors of all type feathers and even some occasional mammal hair types ( on the mammal related ones ).
But it is soooo coool!!

Jesus you are so wrong. There will be no feathers in the game cause there are no feathers in JP lore.
Can some mod please lock this so they can't keep bumping it to the top?

JP lore was never about feathers and if people can't accept that, it's their problem.

Christ on a bike dude, you guys are behaving like this is some huge ultimatum that will decide the fate of Frontier games and the Jurassic Park franchise. There is no vote. Frontier chose to not have feathered dinosaurs. There is a canonical explanation for why we don't see feathered dinosaurs in the franchise. This is the reality of things. They haven't in the past, and for the foreseeable future there will not be feathered dinosaurs as we know them.

There is no vote. There will be no feathers in the game, ever. It doesn't matter if we want it or not. It's not part of JP lore and that's what makes the decisions. Frontier is following the franchise lore. The handful of people screaming for feathers isn't going to hurt Frontier if you don't buy the game cause millions of other people will buy it and enjoy it.
You have no say in the matter. Feathered Dinosaurs will never be in this game.
