Just logged back into my alt account and counted up my deaths from speedbowling and ran the cimcumstances of each through the ejection table web tool.
Not only did I somehow manage to survive all 4 crashes at supersonic / hypersonic speeds, but I actually managed to convince my insurance company to get me my ship back even though I was participating in an illegal racing event.
Miracles never cease to amaze me.
