Facta got an near-instantaneous reply by a Community Manager.
You can count on one hand those responses in the 97.5 (?) fleet carrier threads.

Top Tip kiddies - ask a question that can be answered with Soon, works wonders for the response rate :) I'm sure fdev will be along to congratulate the most glorious Thread Thread once it hits 100, I think we're only 0.5 threads away now (pending verification). Though the cat gif percentage may not be high enough to merit a response ;)

So - any clue on a date? or are we waiting until the September 18th update drops?

(Oh, and if anyone knows whether fdev plan to unlock the Witch Head BGS any time soon we'd love to know that too, even though Ian assures us it's not an option :) )

FDEV replies with 22 words in response to a request for 1 .... that has to be the most generous FDEV response this year ! :giggle:

will this be the September update in September, or the September update in October, maybe November, perhaps march 2020? and will it have small seismic charges in it?

Fun fact, the text on one of these fire extinguisher used to be reversed back in 2.4 beta, rumor has it this was when the heat bug was created.

Content Reveal - September Update

With the September Update launching on 18 September, we will be streaming live on 12 September, bringing you all the latest and greatest news about our next update. As always, we'll be joined by Executive Producer Adam Woods, who will be running us through the new starter experience, livery system and how the new Arx system works.
We hope you'll join us, but if you're unable to make keep an eye on the forums just after for a recap.

The reveal is a Thursday, with the Update launch on 18th, which is a Wednesday. Of course, Thargoid Thursday immediately follows that, but giving FD a little time, maybe the Update prepares something in place for the following week (about 25th September) for the next II :unsure:

With all the Fleet Carrier talk, and everybody and their cats (it seems) busy mining, focus appears to have been lost on the new Thargoid discovered at Palin's base ..........
