Anything hinted in Beyond Trailer that we haven't seen in Beta?

ED is rooted in reality in terms of stars, planets or generally the objects we find in space. They would never come up with random space fanfic like white holes.

Personal random guess: It's related to the Guardian AI or just a weird lifeform.

But isn't it listed as a star? Reference the upper left corner of the tile. There is a star there. Notice that for all the others, there is a planet in the upper left hand corner, denoting that they are a planetary surface feature.

Worryingly, the trailer hasn't shown lightning in the Lagrange Cloud clip [where is it] You'd think that would be a major feature to exhibit. And it wasn't in the Beta, either.

That suggests a space based object as opposed to a surface object. The other things there were in the features and anomalies section rather than the astronomy part of the codex. Personally, I thought your post was just making the same joke as me.

I think they are talking about what appears to be a swirly graphic just falling off screen, bottom right. It wasn't in beta.

As for the spoiler, for me it is a white X. But this place blocks most graphics.

yes they are - same symbol as clouds so "space based"

nice to think it is some sort of wormhole until the 11th though

Also in the trailer was mention (in the squadrons part) of "anomalies".

42 secs in.

And one of the crystal thingys looks to have dropped a spike.

Supernova or Accretion Disk would be the two most likely candidates. An accretion disk is a sort of slow motion supernova in reverse :D
