Close EDJP (so it definitely closes Boxel Explorer window too), then reopen it, hold SHIFT on keyboard then click Boxel Explorer button. The window tries to position itself in the last location it was open but for various reasons (usually changing monitor setup), it can be stuck off screen. Holding Shift when you click tells EDJP not to restore it's position.Good day. Problem with EDJP. I can't open the Boxel Explorer window. All libraries are installed. Version 2.5.2. Please help. The Boxel Explorer window seems to open, but it doesn't. http://joxi.ru/2XYp8zEsZMKRnA
Thank you very much. Everything worked. Your programs are very helpful to researchers. I would really like ED to develop in this direction.Close EDJP (so it definitely closes Boxel Explorer window too), then reopen it, hold SHIFT on keyboard then click Boxel Explorer button. I might be doing something completely wrong, but when doing a boxel survey neither the "Increment boxel" button nor the keyboard shortcut have any effect. I have to start a new survey and choose "use next boxel" to get it to the next boxel.
Is it my error or is it a bug?
I'm currently in "BF-A f" starting a survey with "1 layer deep" makes the button work, but that increments it to "CK-A e".It's working OK for me in 2.5.4 (release) and 2.5.7 (beta). I assume you set to 1 (or more) layers deep? Maybe try starting a new boxel survey in one of the top level systems, ensure the correct number of layers deep is set and tick the "Ignore systems I've already visited" box and then see if incrementing boxel works?
Ahh. Yeh, if you're trying to do the entire f-mass boxels in a survey there's no easy way at the moment to do it. I think the older "next boxel" functionality possibly stopped working when the layers were added. I had planned to expand survey options so you could choose a set of boxels from Boxel Explorer and have those all in a survey but haven't found time to get to it.I'm currently in "BF-A f" starting a survey with "1 layer deep" makes the button work, but that increments it to "CK-A e".
Might it be that there's currently no way to simply increment it to the next f boxel? Starting a Survey of a g boxel would only take me to a small subset of f boxels using that method.
If you grab the latest beta (the link underneath the button on download page), this should hopefully work as expected now. It also has a more compact Boxel Explorer window to fit 720p that someone asked for. Thanks for looking at it.

I've had 3-4 similar reports. At least 2 of them are running Windows 11 and report the problem started after the last update - can you open up a command prompt and typeI'm getting grey windows on EDJP - reinstalled dotnet 8.0, tried 2.5.27 - to no avail. Just me or anyone else?

Unfortunately, I don't have a W11 machine to be able to test this and am completely unable to reproduce it so troubleshooting has proved problematic.
