I'm glad you had it too... I thought something had gone badly wrong here when I logged in tonight, normally play with HMD 1.75 (on a 1080) with good enough results, but tonight it was a stutter fest!Just to add my voice to the FPS hit in VR. Running a 1080 on mostly medium -high settings (shadows on Ultra) used to get 45 fps or thereabouts with ASW off in ports, now getting 23. Sumfink ain't right and I ain't changed niffink.
I go this one. I had to remap my scanners. Also the manifest scanner is not bringing up the inventory sub-menu in the left hand panel, making it pointless doing an inventory scan.Initially really bad FPS inside starports, but otherwise it's mostly nice. Advanced Docker! Slow, but does the job. Only question is how it can be advanced if it consumes even more power than the old one? Ridiculous! Nice: the Cobra III seems to have gotten 2 additional slots even though IIRC it's a medium ship. Restock seems to have a bug, you'll instantly notice it. Worse: check your fire group mappings, in particular the scanners. Composition scanner seems to have switched mappings with Discovery, and some fire groups look weird now too. But well, launch day

Yep....just dumped me straight into the game in OPEN. Rebooted the game and now fixed itself...it NOW has all the obviously NEEDFUL options.. go figure.. game just corrupted... now playing (thanks for you reply at least)... NOW what about the FPS!!!!!!.... I can't believe the FPS hit my top of line i7-9700K/RTX 2080 Ti PC rig is now suffering... with no graphical gain whatsoever! Oh boy... these bug releases get worse and worse.Strange. When you click Continue, you are supposed to be brought to a screen showing you game modes.
According to some people disabling/lowering FX Quality fixes this issue. I personally didn't try it yet. o7Yep....just dumped me straight into the game in OPEN. I think, much like in real life aircraft, it's not so much a case of needing them, as having a convenience. Most professional pilots use autopilots and other assists, but not a single one of them would be unable to fly without. Much like cruise control in a car, or that weird auto-park that some cars have... A luxury upgrade designed to extract cash from the punter. Use it or not. If you actually need it though, go back to flight school. Why would anyone need a docking computer, advanced docker, automatic leaving a station? My 6 year old grandson does these tasks when we play. He laughed at the suggestion we should fit them. Only for bad space pilots he said as he took our anaconda through the slot.
Sooooooo, it now takes more time to fill up your cargo hold in a cutter from the commodities market menu than it does to currently fill up the same ship with powerplay merits. Which is very tedious already. Please tell me this is an out of date april fools joke. Ya know, community pokes for 'Fill cargo hold' button, Frontier ED team chuckles and makes it tedious for the luls for a sec. We all laugh and its either reverted or the fix we've actually wanted for years now is implemented... Yeah? Oh? No? Okay.... maybe next patch... or the patch after that.Commodity Market Interface
- Separated 'Buy' and 'Sell' screens, to make it clearer to the player what data they are looking at
- Added filters
- Added 'Suggested' markets to the comparisons popup, and populated it with nearby data that the player owns
- Also added the mission icon to systems that the player has active missions in
- The 'Help' button takes the player to the relevant Pilots Handbook article
- Updated the supply and demand icons and added a description of it to the right hand side of the screen, to make it clearer to the player when to buy or sell
- Highlight mission related and rare goods on the buy screen, with a key to icons along the bottom
- Clarified what the comparison column is telling the player:
- On the buy screen - the profit if selected commodity is sold at selected market/galactic average
- On the sell screen - the profit if selected commodity is bought at selected market/galactic average, and sold at current market
- By default the column shows the 'Galactic Average' until the player selects a market to compare with
- Added local market data to the right hand side for quick comparison
- Buy screen shows Galactic average and price per unit on right hand side and Sell screen also includes profit if sold
- Buy/Sell popup includes more information and quick links
- Local market data for quick comparison
- Selecting a market takes the player to the system on the galaxy map
- View commodity on galaxy - takes players to a filtered version of the map
- Added more detail to the popup box when selecting any commodities in the players inventory, as well as a quick link to the galaxy map with the correct filter applied
