Ya'll can say what you want, Odyssey is an unfinished and rushed project; still to this day the optimization is very poor especially on CZ and planetary bases; could add here the stations as well. I run the game on a i5 8400 with gtx 1060 6gb. I know, it's an old setup; still i can have 60fps on anything else, constantly. Can't play CZ because the fps makes things literally unplayable (25-30fps); some planetary bases have huge issues in this department as well (not all of them). The apex shuttle has some issues, i noticed when i look at it i drop from 60fps to 40-45fps, may be too many vertices or something like that. The list can go on and on and it's very long. Not only optimizations but the quality in effects is also off; bloom, particles; cabin lighting; planetary lighting; gamma; global illumination inside stations and planetary basses and not to mention the infamous flickering shadows that are still present to this day. I don't expect with my setup to have 60fps on ultra all the time; i expect to run the game at medium with some high settings at 60fps 90% of the time which is not the case here at all. Tried all settings to low and got the same performance in CZ so there is that. This engine needs a lot of work. Until then, i'm still happy with the old school Horizons.
