General Assign NPC crew members to the spare cockpit seat so we can actually see our NPC crew members in our cockpits!!

Even the devs prolly don't have a clue where is the NPC crew... Maybe in another dimension, maybe stuck in the toilets from the start ? But what we know is that if we're many enough to require them in the cockpit, FD will need to start looking.

Yeah been asking for this for years.

But i suppose since FD deal with issues based on a popularity contest these days, instead of dealing with them based on careful evaluation of priority and impact, then might as well roll with it and vote.

Voted. I have been wanting this to be added back when we first got commander customization.

By the way, if you folks would be so kind as to please check out my ticket regarding Deadly Ranked NPC crew. I have desperately been trying to get them to fix this since Odyssey launch. They closed our original ticket due to lack of confirmation within time frame.

Never got any deadly ranked NPC crew member, so, for now, I can't check it out or testify, but I'll vote as soon as it's possible.

I read your thread and, yeah ! I'd love NPC crew to be all that (like most of us, I suppose). I think FD could and should invest so much more in that part, to keep ED a great game as it ages.

But I fear the devs have a lot to do. We don't want them to give us a straight "NEVER" in front of the huge amount of work so many functionalities at once could imply. Such an NPC crew experience could only be developped step by step. And, to me, step 1 should be to fill the empty seats in those cockpits that feel so desperately lifeless ; which doesn't seem so hard to implement when it's already on with APEX pilots (who have been teasing us with the obvious feasibility and the near achievement of such a feature).
