Autumn DLC Speculation

Can't figure out if that music collection will be there instead of the usual bigger features of the free update. If that is the case then I think we might see the DLC revealed before the update again, as we saw it with the Conservation Pack. Can't really be sure about anything anymore.
This has crossed my mind a lot over the weekend and makes sense even though it’s unexpected. I think that the music collection is effectively the update, which would mean that we’ve already had the “update” announcement and the livestream on Wednesday will potentially reveal the DLC.

That's always such a tricky one for me, because realistically puffins absolutely require an aviary to be contained, but in game-terms I feel like I'd be willing to overlook it considering how the majority of their behaviour would be spent swimming and sitting on rocks...

It's a bit like ibises. Like, yeah, they are waders, but modern standards require an aviary because wing-clipping isn't seen as good practice anymore, so you could get away with making them "ground birds" (in the same way as flamingos or peafowl) but really they should be part of an aviary system.

I'd feel a lot better about both if we had a dedicated mesh building set.
I saw some in icelands and I would ove so much to see puffin in the game if we ever will get a aviary pack! but yea it need behavior to seat on rocks

I very much doubt that the remixed tracks of an already existing music is our update 1.11. Rather I think it is its own thing and a passion project of some of the developers.

I already had it here in the Thread and I make now again a bit of taxonomically stuff. The Asiatic Lion is just a subpopulation (noz even a subspecies like the different brown bears) of the already in-game lion. Both Asiatic lion and westafrican Lion belong to the same lion subspecies, the Northern Lion. Thats why I hope we will not see the Asiatic lion in a future DLC, because for me this is an important aspect. But this is a Personal opinion and of course everyone can wish the asiatic lion If he wants to.

My thinking is that it could lead to a better made lion. And the Asiatic subpopulation does have some distinctive physical features too.

Technically this can be correct statement. On steamdb summer song stream is listed as patch note and was updated through depots.
Entire soundtrack will be in base game probably as part of free update.

That’s really interesting it’s listed in the patch note. Perhaps this could mean that the devs are focusing on a more game changing base game update for December and the summer song stream is giving some space for that whilst also offering us something new.

I like to see it in a similar way to the clouded leopards, which pretty much always have a roofed enclosure. I know those are for different reasons, but I can easily see puffins being treated like essentially a sea-faring duck.

Well, if that was the case, no offense to whoever created the music, but it would be very disappointing. We keep saying that if one update or DLC is a bit light then that means they are working hard for the next one. Well, last 2 updates were already on the light, shallow side, so an update exclusively focused on a new versioned soundtrack would leave me very perplexed and worried. No, it wouldn't justify even a huge update on December with flying mechanics or whatever.

Even in an alternative universe, I doubt the Himalayan brown bear would be on a lot of people's radars.
It would be if it was a weird, backwards universe
The inner machinations of frontiers mind is certainly an enigma

I love canines, but yeah:

Birbs
More Marsupials
More Rodents/Pig-Swine/Mustelids
More...cowbell?

I don't think the "sounds of summer" is part of the free update cause then they should telling us that. like everytime was a teaser for the free update they saying "new feature coming to Planet Zoo in a future update" and they didn't mention it with the album. also even if It's maybe part of the update I don't see it as main feature in the update, if the update include spicy things and the album would be part of the update I don't have any probelm with that.

but yea guys there left 2 days until we might get news! huh I'm so so excited!

I do not think this is the case. I think not a small number of players are neither on the Forum, nor on social media platforms. So steam is a good platform to inform these players.

They got so much flak over doing that exact same thing for the official soundtrack dlc, I doubt they would ever do something similar again

I would maybe take the barbary lion (which is extinct in the wild like the new oryx we got with the last DLC) or the (real) south african/namibian lion (Panthera leo melanochaita)...
Funfact: we actually don't really have the westafrican lion in the game, as the only places where white lions have been spotted are some areas of the Kruger NP in South Africa...where only the south african lion (Panthera leo melanochaita) lives.
