Be honest with us Frontier

I dont get it, what so hard to do about spider monkey? It is quadrupedal primate both on trees and ground just like capuchin is.

It also has prehensile tail. Where is problem with implementation? Spider monkeys brachiate just like gibbons, but with tail sliding on ropes lol.
In comparison there is absolutely no way to bring main movement style of white-faced saki known as leaping, but no one has problems with it.

It's not impossible, we are speculating that it's just probably more time and cost intensive for Frontier to make certain animals compared to others

I'm so glad Frontier didn't listen to the realism-babble going on here, and just added one of my favorite primates, the Proboscis Monkey, I don't care it can't be held in zoo's, it is too awesome, much like Saiga and Leopard Seals.

It's not that can't be held in zoos. It's just that I hard too. And because of its hard diet to satiate, zoos outside of its native range don't wanna go through the effort it takes to make them.

I'm sure this has been asked before and answered, but imma do it again: are there ANY animals not held in any zoos that are in the game?

I would add to this the uakari, as well. While not as common as the rest, it is more common than the proboscis, so it's that unlikely either...

I believe spider monkey could work, though, because the binturong uses its tail at times, so I think that it's entirely possible, but a little harder than the other New World monkeys we mentioned
Ever since the siamang came out i have imagined spidermonkeys working similar. And now with the lar gibbons expansion on brachiation it feels even more likely

I'm betting on us getting spider monkey or howler monkey at the end of the year December pack.

My hope is on Red Howler Monkey, always one of my favorite monkeys from the Atlas van de Dieren (dutch animal book I got back in 1992 which is the best animal book I've ever seen yet on this day)

Red Howler Monkey looks nice but with a realistic view we will get the Black Howler Monkey (If we ever should get a Howler Monkey but I think it will happen).

I personally prefer the black howler, mostly because of the dimorphism (black males, gold females) and also because they're the only howlers I've seen...

But, any howler would be a win in my eyes...

And have you checked out the Amber animal encyclopedias? I have the animal one and the bird one

I'm talking about this picture (actually found it! and it's free from copyright me thinks)
I wouldn't mind the Black Howler Monkey as well, but I think the Red Howler has the loudest voice of the animal kingdom? Making it a little bit more special than the black one? or am I wrong?

PS. that yellow frog in the middle of this page was actually another fromg (Glass Frog) in the Dutch version of the book, didn't know an english version existed...

I don't know enough about howlers to know who's louder😅...
But I don't know that dinner at the Howler's would be like an Argentinean dinner🤣

Regarding quills, yeah I think it's possible but I do think it's going to take a lot of effort. Maybe they're waiting to include it in a pack with a bunch of animals that won't take a lot of work? I'm sure they realize both the popularity of the Porcupines here, and also that they've got a high level of general recognizability.

Perhaps they should start off with a species that's probably a little easier to design like the Brazilian Porcupine. ;)

I hope with this topic out, Frontier tries to prove me wrong and the porcupine will be in the next pack. But I really only want the African Crested Porcupine, the others are nice, but that one is the real deal.

There is so little difference between the african crested, cape and indian porcupine that it really doesnt matter which one we get, to me atleast
