The Porcupine is very to make so people are debating if they could actually make it. Now it's kinda spiralled into how hard is it to make certain animals.May I ask what the purpose of this thread is again? A bit lost.
A baboon would 100% be able to use the Mandrill rig. Do the Mandrill and Japanese Macaque have different rigs actually?Hamadryas Baboon (work level 4 - new rig, unless they are able to use much of the Mandrill rig, in which case the work level would be 3)
I would think they would have different rigs. It's not just about size but the way they walk is different as well, so the "muscular structure" is probably set up differently.A baboon would 100% be able to use the Mandrill rig. Do the Mandrill and Japanese Macaque have different rigs actually?
Not 100%. The baboon has a tail and the mandrill dosent that's the main difference. But still not too hard.A baboon would 100% be able to use the Mandrill rig. Do the Mandrill and Japanese Macaque have different rigs actually?
I think the only monkey that'd need a new rig is the howler/spider because of its prehensile tail and a tamarin/marmoset cause it's small.I feel like you guys sometimes mistake new rig with new animations. Baboon would not need a new rig just because the tail, they would just have to animate the tail. It would most certainly use the Mandril rig with some small adjustments and new animations.
Yeah but to be fair its a little confusing when youre not really into 3d modeling and stuff.I feel like you guys sometimes mistake new rig with new animations.
