Hopefully this will quell some of the doubters :p

Not especially. Various crashes fixed, none of these tied directly to any specific action performed in game but overall stability should be improved. means nothing to me in game and doesn't directly affect my gameplay in a noticeable way.

However "You can now see missions in Bulletin Boards in outer systems" or "You'll no longer stutter in SC near metallic planets" or "We've added in the ability for group members to trade items and credits with each other" would all be examples of quality doubt quelling material. But we're not seeing that, yet? :)

Tested this out by flying from I Bootis to Eranin, two of the busiest systems in the game atm. Performance seemed a lot better, despite there being lots of other players around. Great stuff! :D

Hi everyone,

Beta 3.05 will be going live within the next 10 minutes - 17:05 GMT.

Here's the full change log for your perusal:
• Further optimisations to network traffic when players enter/leave islands.
• Fixes for some of the reasons that server connections were being dropped.
• Extra diagnostics to help in tracking down the remaining networking issues.
• Various crashes fixed, none of these tied directly to any specific action performed in game but overall stability should be improved.

Thanks for testing beta 3.04, we look forward to reading your feedback, and getting your tickets and reports re this update!

Cheers,

Ed

What? It makes perfect sense what he said.

He's thanking us for all of the testing we did on the previous version, now that there's a new one out, which will also need testing.

Hmmmm, I see we can understand this at 2 different versions.... :)
- I thought he thnx for testing the 3.04, meaning the 3.05....
- Maybe he thnx us that we've tested well the 3.04.... ^^

whatever, I understood it my way ^^

You are travelling at super-light speed and you are concerned about little bit of stuttering??

Yes. You're obviously lucky to never have experienced this bug or else you wouldn't be saying that, even as a joke. But travelling at superlight speed into a planet or worse, away from an interdiction near a planet, and losing all control and observation over your ship for a second, repeatedly, is very much a source of concern.

Only one way to understand/interpret it I'm afraid. As he terms it in past tense, its relevent only to 3.04. If it was future/present tense he'd have used "Thanks in advance for testing 3.05..." etc.
