Any information when PL translation team can start their job?

Is it just me or does the Heavy Duty Shield Booster appear to not have many cons? Increasing the Shield Boost % but not increasing the power draw seems land only having mass increase seems a bit...weird.
 
Tried alternative download, just hangs at one minute to go.
Received a validation error before that with missing files.
Maybe server issue in Australia, don't know but it's a bit frustrating.

Installer "path too long" issue still not fixed for Oculus Home beta customers :-/ Feeling like I'll be lucky to get beta time at all at this rate.

I just went to a compromised nav beacon. I haven't had so much fun in fighting NPC ever. NPC now act wiser than most of the self proclaimed PvP heroes.

So, folks. This is the end to PvP as PvE is now even more fun *ridiculous laughter*

PS: Could you nerf MC heat on the FdL by... 5%?

Yeah exactly this, these are the real OP things now if they don't change it, together with the retributors. ..
 
Aw man, I clicked update before I left for work this morning. I should've checked to see whether it even started or not. Oh well, if I have to redownload the entire thing tonight, I can enjoy Stellaris for the evening (which so far, is really really fun).
 
Actually it's almost the other way around. As we move through beta it's necessary to be stricter on what things can be changed. To pick a couple of examples (by no means the be-all and end-all, just illustrative):

- We need all the specials testing soon so that if there are problems or overhauls needed then we have a shot at changing the functionality. Given it takes some time to design & implement the change, time in QA, then bundle up into the next release and wait for bugs/feedback. Potentially with more than one loop around, each taking some number of days.
- Exactly what % bonus a specific recipe can give is an easy data change to make with very low technical risk, similarly for how much rep crafting gives you.

Bringing Mayhem in sooner means we have a better chance to nail down the former kind of question :).

We need to test it very hard because a lot of missions can be failed by bug and it causing decreasing rep of fractions... reversing the progression that takes time to recover! When 2.1 goes live there should be minimal count of such bugs or people will avoid mission system at all.

Yep, but mayhem doesn't stop that. We already have a lot of reports/issues that are being fixed, and unlocking engineers for crafty chaos doesn't in any way stop people testing missions (it gives them something else to do which will reduce the number of eyes on it admittedly).
