If we are already in mayhem phase, does that mean that this is the final phase of beta? I hope not, cause there is still a lot of issues that need to be adressed.

Maybe in ED universe, but remember.. in Stargate they could put entire city in there..

We don't really know how long Mayhem will last, and there's "Apocalypse" after that; where everyone gets a bounty and so will become a killing free-for-all. (Great for testing combat upgrades, perhaps not so good for other kinds of testing. But combat mods are the ones that require the most balancing, so fair enough).

No. It just means that stress testing is started, this might take a while.

Hope this fixes the route plotting always using economic routing

It hasn't yet, and needs reporting actually. I'm sure someone has already, check the Bug thread.

I probably found out what they meant by that...

This "tunnel" thing is seem to be clipping around cockpit

Hey Zac... Hopefully this'll fix my installation issues... though I saw nothing about it in the notes. However... I have a query. I have a laptop and a desktop and I'd like to install it on both. If I install it on one machine, then copy the folder over to the other folder to the other machine and run the installer can I avoid doing another large download?

Last patch i copied the folder across to a second machine without any problems.

It hasn't yet, and needs reporting actually. I'm sure someone has already, check the Bug thread.

I've already reported this bug with the galaxy map always showing "Economical" route mode, but if you want to add to the report please go and add your comment that you're seeing this too.

Actually, after testing this on a couple of ships, what is actually happening is that the setting you were previously using is still being remembered, so if you have been plotting "fastest" routes, it will still carry on plotting fastest routes even though the flag appears wrong on the screen.

At the moment as a workaround, if you are already plotting fast routes and you want to plot an economy route, you have to :
- change the flag to fastest route, and plot.
- Change the flag back to economical, and replot the route again. You will then get a proper economical route.

Since you posted the screenshot - does everyone have those blue lights at either end of the Asp's dashboard? I'm never sure if they're meant to be lights, or a graphics glitch where a texture is missing. They don't seem to "light" anything that I can see.
 
eek! Surprised that in the Outfitting fixes that the 'Top Speed' and 'Boost Speed' stats have not been fixed. Not only are they totally wrong and nothing to do with your own ships Top and Boost speeds, but on one of my ships the Boost Speed is actually shown as lower (176) than my Top Speed (200) - both wrong of course.

NPC fleeing mechanic isn't fixed?

Do you want them to hang around and be destroyed ? :) It is being looked at and during beta will be changed so that ships can still run away but have variable ways of acting.
