Game Discussions Bethesda Softworks Starfield Space RPG

Does it come with new, exciting loading screens, or do you just sit in it?

no loading screen, but maybe the modding community will add one :p

There is an issue with the Rev-8 spawning when the landing bay is in the centre of the ship and modules of the same level are around the landing bay. The vehicle can spawn trapped under the ship, especially if you are using the Stroud landing gear.

Fun times :)

I really need to install SF again. Is there a DLC, or is it just a patch with vehicles? And is it already in?

(Sorry, been living under a rock lately when it comes to other games :D )

Oh, nice one, thanks! I'll start preparing for that then :) Guess I should also check my mods, they may need updating... Not even sure if they work with current version :D (If anyone is using them, let me know please! :D )

There is a conflict with Community Patch (mod) via Creations and actived the new Vehicle.
So only solution atm is to disable the Community Patch (mod)

Yup, jumped in my new buggy then couldn't get back out ('E' Key didn't work) Everything else worked fine, just couldn't exit the buggy unless I fast travelled back to my ships cockpit via the map.

I was going down the list of my installed mods wondering which one was the culprit...so assuming disabling the Community Patch works, you've saved me some searching, many thanks :)

Yup 3 different ships on akila, new Atlantis and Syd. The community patch is off . And still no car, hopefully they can fix before the new dlc arrives . Will look at getting rid of all the mods when I switch it back on for the DLC .

Was a matter of time…

It always reminds me of the possible greatness of Starfield with its modding community, if this whole exploration thing wasn't so limited... (Although, it is a very good game)
Yes, this is precisely why I didn't immediately dismissed SF.

Skyrim also sucked big time when it was released originally, with no mods and no DLC's. Yet look at it so many years ago and still living a good life :)

Sorry, not really on topic, but I just wanted to know. I understand the use of mods in the game can be only if the game is single player ? And in MMO it is not possible ?

Needs to be that way, yes. If it were MMO/multiplayer, everyone would have to have the same mods at least installed to even see everything others are using and to level the playing field. Mods in a multiplayer environment are a no go.
