Is there a mod to fix the bug where pressing "E" to respond to a hail etc takes me out of the pilot's chair? That really grates.
The game is entirely single player and definitely no MMO.Sorry, not really on topic, but I just wanted to know. I understand the use of mods in the game can be only if the game is single player ? And in MMO it is not possible ?
I suspect it was a compromise. An actual hangar to drive out of, prossibly even set up as a bay connected to the ship, would be more immersive, but would also force us to accomodate it in our ship builds. And this piece would be larger and more bulky than the regular landing bay.I'm disappointed they didn't add a dedicated vehicle hanger or do motocycles that spawn in the regular landing module so we could drive out.
On the other hand it looks like buggies I did years ago. Excuse the image quality these are tiny.

That sucks, crosshair mod was the first and most import mod for me, hopefully it gets updated sometimes.Just an update on my non functional exit mode for the buggy, I trawled through my 50+ mods one by one after disabling the community patch failed to fix the issue...discovered the culprit to be a 'better crosshairs' mod I had installed manually a while back. It was the only mod I had installed that messed with the player hud or UI...the other main suspects that were prone to causing the exit bug issue like 'StarUI' etc had never appealed to me so I knew it was none of those.
Anyways, deleted the modded crosshair files manually so exiting the buggy is all fixed, with all my other mods re-installed, tested and working...I'm just back to suffering Bethesdas ugly vanilla crosshairs now![]()
That's what stopping me from fully investing into computer games. Games are limited by what the devs makes of it, even modding has its limits.I suspect it was a compromise. Ooh, I like the saucy companion costumes.... do tell, where did you find them?
Sorry?! Bethesda missed the opportunity for (yet) another loading screen!?I'm disappointed they didn't add a dedicated vehicle hanger or do motocycles that spawn in the regular landing module so we could drive out....
Same place I found my saucy loading screens I suspectOoh, I like the saucy companion costumes.... do tell, where did you find them?

Nexus, as always. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfieldOoh, I like the saucy companion costumes.... do tell, where did you find them?
I had the same missing planet textures initially after downloading the patch, the planet textures loaded properly after verifying the game content and relaunching the game...it's been fine since thenGot a bit of play in, after a very slow load (guessing that was the Rev8 buggy update). Killed the pirate captain, went back to ship, plotted a route to Akila, found all the planets are weird colours and labelled something like "you should not be able to see this"...
??

It was a matter of time: (2 hundredths of a second) hahaha The mod creator community works faster than any video game company. Was a matter of time…

It always reminds me of the possible greatness of Starfield with its modding community, if this whole exploration thing wasn't so limited... (Although, it is a very good game)
If you can use aesthetic and animation mods in online games, the problem is that only you would see them. On the other hand, modifications to statistics would have to be from the same server, that is not possible... and if it is possible, it would not be legal.Sorry, not really on topic, but I just wanted to know. Some online PvE communities, using ArmA, DCS or IL2 as examples, embrace cosmetic and statistical modifications and run dedicated servers where everyone needs to be running the same mods to be a part of it. Online modding only causes problems with games that focus solely on adversarial PvP...for obvious reasonsIf you can use aesthetic and animation mods in online games, the problem is that only you would see them.
