My gun after huffing CO2

Fun fact: "Faschiertes" is Austrian German and means "ground meat". The sort you use for patties. Just so you know. Nothing to do with fashists, but it sounds just alike. I say someone was praising your patties. Or cursing them - depends on the context.
I suppose it sounds nicer than Hackfleisch.
I thought it was humour ? If it would have been serious I would have just reported you, really.
But it was sarcasm so I didn't see any harm in it.
It was humour - Tell Tweedledum and Tweedledee who are currently waving their pitchforks at me!

Having read through some of your replies here, you seem to have a particular Axe to grind, so I will just explain my reasons for shifting focus away from Elite and let you tear it right up afterwards

For the record though, I was never playing Elite in a shallow or opportunistic way as you seem to have the idea that streamers/youtubers do - I am still the number 1 ranked pilot on AXI's ACE list and have killed over 1100 thargoid interceptors including 164 Hydra. So I've been around a bit

But Elite is too much grind. In the AX domain especially - having to grind out ammo all the time just isn't fun, and I don't wanna spend my time doing it anymore.

the people that say things like 'relogging is cheating' and 'just play the game' forget that for some of the games high level endgame fights you HAVE to have synth refills. and yeah relogging though a frankly awful design choice to get to the part of the game you like is the least aggravating way to do it.

The troubles with Odyssey had little to do with my descision other than realizing FDev would never move away from the grind - instead doubling down. It gave me pause anyway to consider playing Star Citizen - and having done so now, Elite actually just feels really really far behind.

I'm not giving up on Elite, community events we hold are still fun - but I am focusing way more time on Star Citizen now

I genuinely enjoy your new series. I'm still not sold 100% on SC just yet, but you're doing a good (evil?) job in converting me. I haven't really followed SC that much over the years, so there's still a lot of things to read up on, especially regarding size of the "galaxy" and potential for exploration (by far my favorite activity in Elite).

After watching your series, I have to wonder, where exactly is Elite: Odyssey still superior to Star Citizen? What kept me away from SC was the Alpha status, the performance issues and the bugs. Joke's on me I guess? Elite, even years after the release of Horizons and even after a recent surface themed expansion, only has one ground vehicle. SC, despite being in Alpha, has several. Elite, despite Ship Interiors originially advertised, doesn't have any plans for ship interiors and isn't likely to get them. SC does have ship interiors and even meaningful and fun gameplay attached to it. "Space Legs" in Elite are essentially a second game separate from the main game, without any meaningful overlaps and synergies. In SC, "Space Legs" are an organic and natural part of the overall game, including "ship gameplay". At the moment, the only thing left going for Elite is the galaxy with 400 billion star systems to explore (minus new things to explore, though) and a human populated bubble of several thousand systems.

Anyway, I digress. I'm glad you're currently focussing on SC and I'm looking forward to your next video.

PS: That box WAS amazing though. Your excitement was totally justified :p

There is no "galaxy" and they have consistently failed to add another star system. Which frankly isn't necessary for a good game but they made the stretch goals and promised to make the mother of all games, the game that does everything, but it will be nothing like that when its carcass rots in the street or someone competent comes around and trims all the fat away and works with a concept at the project.
