hmmm...I trust that about as much as I trusted them when I first reported that synth ammo turns to normal ammo when a module is stored, and after acknowledging it as a bug and applied a fix that lasted 1 day and the bug still exists now a couple years later..trust not so much.

This is kind of a "Shrodinger's Modules" thing....

If I don't play the game, will it prevent my stored modules from being un-engineered?
And, how will I know?

Just had a look....

Oddly enough, out of my 110 stored modules, it seems like about 10 of them do still have their engineering.

Interestingly, I notice none of the engineered modules have any XFX.
I'd guess that they're Legacy modules and it's all the modules that got engineered under the new system that got wiped.

Keep calm, this won't stand. You'll propably get a snowflake bobblehead as compensation. We have a precedent for it.

Not to argue with those loosing the engineering on stored modules, but all of mine in storage had their engineering in tact. I also moved engineered modules to my ships with no problem and moved some engineered modules from my ship back to storage without any lose of engineering on the modules. I also transferred all of my engineered modules from one station to another, and all appears to be working fine.

Sorry to all of those experiencing this as I'm sure some panic ensued.

Good for you, mine are completely naked and virgin as good old Eden before Adam bought a Rift S.

Just logged in after todays patch....every last single stored module has had it's engineering removed from it.
DOH!

EDIT: FD are aware of this issue and have replied in this thread. The bug is not that engineering upgrades have been wiped but instead it's a bug displaying the module in the UI...so purely a cosmetic issue it seems. If you equip the modules, relog, you will see the engineering upgrade.
