Bug: Unable to transfer items to or from Fleet Carrier cargo

I'm unable to retrieve or deposit certain items in my carrier. The greyed-out items just won't work.

Sweet work around for tradeable commodities, sadly no good for the 365 limpets currently stuck in my FC inventory.
Any suggestions on that very gratefully received o7
At 36500 credits the limpets are not I presume a financial concern nor are they likely to be of sentimental value so I would have thought ignore them until the issue is fixed would work.

Even in the stress test beta I don’t think I have ever owned that many limpets at one time.

Never store limpets in the cargo hold of an fleet carrier. Their weight increases the fuel consumption of the aircraft carrier during the voyage.
The best way is sell in ammunition store.
And you have a cash back ;)

Hi All :)

You can't trade Rare Goods, so that means you can't sell them to yourself. Once you TRANSFER rares onto your carrier they are stuck there....forever maybe?
Yes, that was one thought that crossed my mind, and not just the rares either.😟
This is a really annoying bug and I would hope it's fixed soon. I had another commodity that's gone into the grey (Platinum) which a few days ago was transferable.
It makes me wonder what other commodities will become unusable on the Carrier, and begs the question what if Tritium follows the same pattern. If that happens it's really going to impact the game, as at the moment this bug seems random.
A lesser bug, but is still slightly annoying is that sometimes transferring all commodities doesn't work as intended. I transfer for let's say for example 100t of a commodity but when you click on 'Confirm Items Transfer' it will only have transferred say 50t with 50t still in the Carriers cargo hold. My 'workaround' when this happens I've found is to transfer a small amount at a time, say for another example 10t, click confirm and for some strange reason this works, and then I do the same procedure to finally select the total amount that I want transferring. Another aspect of this is that after transferring some commodities sometimes the amount that should be remaining in the Carrier disappears!....but the amount is obviously still in the memory as if you transfer the commodities you've transferred back to the Carrier the total correct amount appears again...weird! 😀
Has there been any feedback on these specific bugs from the development team at all?

Yep, I agree, this is what I usually do, but sometimes I just click on 'transfer all to Carrier' then reload the limpets back to my ship and then sell them back to the Carrier.
In any event, the main point being here is that whatever system you use in transferring goods / commodities to and from Carrier using the game menu's it should work as intended, which at this moment in time isn't. :)

Yes, this is a bug.

There have been various problems with FC storage open for literally years, but there are also at least three current issues.
Could someone who has a Fleet Carrier and who is affected pick this up with Support directly and ask them which of these four they are working on to fix it?

Edit: I think 69188 is the closest one to your symptoms?

Hi :)

Oh!....so it seems Tritium isn't exempt from this random transfer bug either, that's a showstopper. 😟
It'll be interesting to see if this whole debacle is rectified in this mornings / todays update. Thanks for posting up the video @truecut (y)

Hi :)

I dunno why people keep hoping stuff that's not listed as being done will somehow get fixed. It's not even an update today, it's just server maintenance. They can't even fix stuff they say they'll fix somedays. 😄

"Hope springs eternal" is an idiomatic expression that conveys the idea that humans inherently possess an enduring sense of hope, no matter the difficulties they face. It expresses the notion that people retain hope and optimism, even in discouraging circumstances.

Don't tell anyone 'cause I don't want to jinx it, but I just transferred tritium, escape pods and limpets both to & from my FC inventory.
Must be a glitch in the matrix!

Me too, no problem in loading 3.5k tons of Tritium to inventory, at least. The issue may well be server related and possible to be fixed there, most of those buttons trigger REST requests at some point. They may also be able to switch some items off from serverside. Limpets or Gold, though, seem strange candidates.

O7,
🙃
