Bugs Galore

so it is in your power to change this behavior.
just stop paying for defective crap, don't beta test, and stop buying from those companies. they'll adapt.
Done. I also recycle and use clean energy. Unfortunately nobody cares, and the game (and the climate) continue to get worse. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry, I was being sarcastic, but not towards you. Every time I complain about a bug, one or more "Defenders of Frontier" inevitably blame my hardware, despite the obvious and tested fact that my hardware is in perfect working order.

Ironically these Defenders seem quieter than normal after this last update...
Give them some time to read your posts.

I still remember the open betas, people doing Youtube videos describing in detail what a bug was, how to reproduce it, where to find it, etc. only for the bug, completely unchanged, to make it into the live version several weeks later. Time is not the issue here.
I was referring to the Defenders, not bug fixing.

But the ED crowd here are not the worst by any means. We at least have a game.

yes indeed, specially if you compare them to, eg, 'that'. :D
quality wise, however, i'd list them on the low end of the spectrum. really embarrassingly sloppy. which is extra sad because they do have quite some genius, and i love this game.

+1

The problem is not time. It's publisher attitude and consumer acceptance. As long as the consumer accepts, the publisher has a lazy attitude.

As for fixing 800 bugs.. Which ones? Telling me 'too many to mention' is more laziness. Surely, in this day and age they [fdev] have a bug board, bug testing and QA board which lists out the fixed issues? Does it cost some huge amount of money to publish that list? Or is it they just can't be bothering their bottom, and again, hope the consumer accepts?

So now that the bug tracker seems to be totally down, should we flood them with emails or something?

I mean, I'm not trying to be a jerk about it and I realize computerz is hard; but why can't we get some acknowledgement of the issues they are working on. How hard is it to post here tweet or something?

I get that when a new update arrives there wil be bugs but some of these are just to obvious.
Half an hour of normal gameplay would've brought these in the open, I'm sorry to say this but it's just outright sloppy.
Not to mention old bugs that still persist like the overheating Dolphin.
I don't understand Fdev's way of prioritizing, the bugs just keep stacking up.

gtx 1070 here, 35 fps inside station and it gives me eyesore since im used to 144hz monitor
major hotfix needed, game is unplayable for me

Good job I picked up Witcher 3 + DLC for £10.49 off steam recently. Should keep me occupied while Elite Dangerous: Biowaste gets fixed.

Did I really pay £100 for the LEP?

Never again.

Oh the irony, maybe we need and issue tracker for the issue tracker, so we can vote weather its important to fix the issue tracker?

Same problem here it's really sad as Elite always had cracking performance and optimization. I really hope they can fix it.
