Button prompts

This annoyance is doubly redundant in that:
1 the announcement is made after the commander has successfully followed protocols,
Just for the sake of argument (and maybe this approach will add some layer to your mental matress ;)):
To land you first need to take off. You start at the starport, so you might hear this way before attempting to land, preparing you for what needs to be done.

i can imagine the march 2020 update launch: "in this update we have streamlined the experience for our veteran players: personalize your toasts!".

they will have individual toggles scattered all over the options tree. oh and the junk shop will get a revamp too.

While I appreciate the new tutorials, which are certainly good for new players, I absolutely dislike that there are more and more button prompts in the game.
My ship doesn't tell me to press "J" for disengaging. It tells me "safe disengage ready". I'm the pilot, I know what to do, and so does every new player after having done it two or three times.

This might look like a trivial thing, but it's the fly in the soup for me. Breaks the simulation.
I would love a toggle for all these prompts we have for hyperjumping, lifting off planets, the keybindings displayed in the FSS and galaxy map.
A way to just disable tutorial mode completely would be great, which can even be done in most arcade-like games.
Yes it's very irritating

We wanted to let you know that we have posted this in our Known Issues list here.
As mentioned by Para Handy, it's not on the list in the Known Issues. The button prompts (eg press J to disengage rather than the previous message saying it was safe to disengage) are quite annoying. I suspect that's not the issue you were referring to Stephen?

The point being made was that you have posted that "added to the list" on just about everything reported in this forum and this one wasn't even a bug, just a remark about the button prompts being unwelcome and unnecessary.

It’s not a bug, and that’s why it’s not on the list - it’s what devs designate “working as intended “. That’s the problem. Stephen please try to understand that the people posting in this thread (and numerous other threads) about the gamey immersion-breaking button prompts are doing so to highlight the poor design choice made to have these prompts permanently appear, rather than temporarily as part of a tutorial mode for new players.

I do hope someone in the dev team is taking note of this matter.
 
By the way, if you have some long controller set up for this, for instance, mine is pressing two button at once - it just displays "Press To Disengage"
