Call to Arms for a Free Colonia

Iz gud plan.

As far as I can tell it's really the only plan they can reasonably execute that doesn't totally backfire on them. Of course, once again the enemy is ceding the narrative to us (which is fine, cause ours is not just sexier but also more accurate).

The thing that I'm trying to wrap my head around is how difficult it is for them to accept that we're not really gankers in the traditional sense.

Is it so weird that players, many of whom had never been to Colonia before, embarked on One Last Adventure to flip Carcosa to Nameless control and then upon learning this act lead to a major improvement in Colonia suddenly felt a sense of responsibility? A sense of stewardship, that something precious and constantly under threat should be preserved?

Again, I'll point out that I'm the only one in our group with any hardcore ganker history (of which I'm actually quite proud). The rest of us are BGS players, Powerplayers, explorers, CMDRs of all stripes, to be honest.

But one thing brought us all together: Carcosa and the belief that what we defend is worth it.

I suppose I should thank the enemy. They've given our movement an incredible gift: a martyr.

From here on out there's nothing but potential.

You can take the Rock, but you can't take our carriers.

Sort of a real community community-goal.
This is exactly your problem. This is the complete opposite of a community goal. The community didnt want this. And now have lost the possibility of buying a whole lot of ships in the nebula.
You think you know whats best for the community, as all fascist. Stop pretend you care about anyone else than your player faction and buddys.

You have been exposed

I guess we can consider their community goal historic. It's the only one I know of that took something away from players.

It is not so much about players dictating how things should be but creating something that brought much attention to Colonia.
Phisto was merely the catalyst that brought spear to colonia, which then lead to a series of wars and others engaging..
There have been other bonuses with groups gaining new members and others running taxi sevices while doing other things...not to mention relationship building between factions, all good things.
This isn't a fdev cg, but one created by community members using assets available in the game and i would love to see more things like this.
It is never about what players want, .but creating things that are fun.
The rp hasn't been great from one side but hopefully they work on that but i suspect this is not done.

If I had a personal beef with you/your friends, do you think I would have left Carcosa on that first day when we met your side saying that "there were enough on our side"? I didn't even bother seeking another opportunity during the entire campaign: I just did my thing.

rp off
You left on that day because it looked already really bad for your side, 12v4 or something like that. Yesterday I had some time to start editing the video trying to condense it down from 2+ hours. It was the most toxic time by a mile I had in the game. SPEAR can be really proud of that.
rp on

I apologise if my comment in the locked thread caused insult, only banter was intended.

I am proud of my squadron, we are a very small group and I was cheering our successes in BGS as well as in Exploration this week.

So, no sneers or smears, just cheers. GG

The thing what you and the rest in that thread don't understand is that it wasn't the locals who were the main buyers. It was explorers looking to do something else after being out in the black for a long time or visitors. The alliance ships were selling like hotcakes especially. I want to see how you are telling them to just go to the bubble to pick them up, because we wanted our empire back in Colonia.
Celebrate for now because the future doesn't look that rosy for EN and SEPP. I had a nice week long vacation in the bubble and made some very interesting observations. All empires will fall eventually and yours will be no exception. All in good fun of course, GG.

Loren's Reapers want to thank all CMDRs who fought on our side during the last 9 months, you are The Nameless. Be assured the occupation of Carcosa will be just a temporary affair. The Resistance started to work already and once all the pieces are together the shipyard will be free again. Explorers and visitors who want to let of some steam meanwhile will be redirected to Pergamon, Union, Randgnid, and Phoenix.
Only skeleton crew of volunteers from The Nameless remained in Carcosa, the rest of their people was evacuated to unreachable systems during the last 4 days to escape the wrath of Dear Leader.

Viva la Resistance, fight the empires [1]

[1] not to confuse with The Empire, but you can fight that one too.

Fair enough.

Any plan to address what you did to Colonia? There is a real, tangible loss that you and yours keep sidestepping.

After all that talk of staying in Colonia, adopting a faction, and the bid to join CEI you're just going to leave? Do you have any idea how that looks?

@LeKeno leaving does not mean SPEAR is leaving ;)
