For such a precariously placed enclave, you'd think that the Imperial tenants of Liaedin would keep a low profile. Yet their greedy expansionist demeanour betrays them
War it is then.
Oh dear god.... another system up the swanee.
The whole area gonna be swarming with feds and imperials, raising all kinds of heck for those of us who only want to make a nearly honest credit.
Bill
Still I guess war does have a certain glamour, just which side to fight on.... :S

Federation scum in my beloved Empire!
Point me in their direction and get out of my way. Time to raise some insurance rates.
Those ships won't stand against a federal capital ship,so don't even bother.Let me see, what ship should I wear for this tiny, insignificant player-generated event?
Vulture? Python? Clipper? Asp? Any of those will pimp-slap Federation goons quite easily.
Decisions, decisions, I'm spoiled for choices I tell you.
I say we see their bet and raise them....Sol. An Empire player-generated blockade of Sol for a few hours, anyone?

But more than enough to slaughter many Fed CMDRs. And if you get enough Empire CMDRs winging up and teaming up with each other then they can probably "push" a cap ship out.
A few ships sit in the blind spot(s) of the cap ship blasting it with energy-based weapons while everyone else keeps the Fed fighters off them.
We have reports of both Federal and Imperial capital ships appearing in the high intensity conflict zones in Volungu. Fly safe out there Commanders.
Having fun by doing war without any reason ?.
Go open play on warzone.
Other behavior will be PK over dudes with smaller ships.
This is not fun, just bored angry people.
i can assure you the people who have been involved in this are neither bored nor angry. We have actually found that framing our activities in the game around this event/role play has helped us to build a great community and have a lot of fun in the process. If anything it has completely eliminated any boredom that you might get from simply grinding credits with no purpose.
if you cannot see that then I am truly sorry for you and your complete lack of imagination. I can only recommend that you give some kind of event like this a go one day and then see if you still feel the same way.
I have had a freaking blast today I played a war correspondent asking questions in the area about how commanders were feeling about the war. Then I got to witness first hand the destruction that a Federation Capital can do. Fun times
