I mean - why do I need to continue to pay them if they aren't even on the ship with me?
Really though?
Nope, seriously?

Which lag educing bug. Given all the others, I'm not sure I noticed this one.And don't even get me started on the lag inducing bug.
It should really be capped as well. At like 350,000 credits per "hand in"
If earn a couple of million trading in my Cutter - they really dont need that big of a stake (especially if they were never used).
Where as if I took X million of goods from A to B, then a percentage up until a max cap of 125k for them seems reasonable right?
If there are several players in an instance launching a SLF it introduces terrible lagging. Not sure I heard of or realized this bug. Please enlighten me.
SLF npc pilots make the instance unbearably laggy for everyone involved apart from the player who launched it.Not sure I heard of or realized this bug. Please enlighten me.
Frontier hates the idea of an NPC crew. Don't ask me why, but they do.Or fine let them keep all their money - but atleast let us Holo-me their avatar into the cockpit so I can SEE THEM!
Then fire them, if you don't like to pay them. I'm sure they will find another job soon enough.Agreed... taking 20% of my money and they sit around most of the time. a bit much

They should not take our money when not active, but then there should be a chance someone else hires them in the meantime
Again: why would they wait for you if you don't pay them?It takes a long time to level up 2 ELITE pilots
Their pay is to high
They should only take a cut when ACTIVE
Again: why would they wait for you if you don't pay them?
You just want it easier, right?
If you can't afford having crew members on payroll, then... maybe you should reconsider.
You can always hire pilot for a job and fire him after. Even before you get reward, which means you'll not pay him anything.
If you want to have better, trained pilot, you must pay to keep them - there must be some drawback fro that option.
Paying them whether they are active or not makes sense. Hou're hiring them and expect them to be ready whenever you need them.
You should be glad it's not weekly salary and you must only pay them percentage of your earnings when you are actually playing and earning.
Nodding and looks of agreement. If you can't afford having crew members on payroll, then... maybe you should reconsider.
Astonished gasp and bewildermentYou can always hire pilot for a job and fire him after. Even before you get reward, which means you'll not pay him anything.
