Carcharodontosaurus design:

MarcWP, KiryuCPR, could you two please stop arguing? Who the crud cares if a dino is accurate or not unless you're a paleoenthusiast? It's the Jurassic Franchise we're talking, none of em are accurate to the bone.

Exactly mate. He just won't accept it. I find it funny. Hahah. But when he started calling people stupid, I had to prove my point you know.

Oh and one more thing:

If KiryuCPR here can differentiate two species of animals by physical appearance, can he/she differentiate the same animal by just the skeleton? I don't think anyone but an anatomist can differentiate the skeleton of a lion and a tiger.

You are disacrediting the people who study these animals that make artist reconstruction basing on the compared anatomy whit reptiles and birds even if it's universal actually for JW3 they will do more acurate dinosaurs so that it's not an argument anymore.

I'm not discrediting anything. I'm just saying, that no one will ever know what these animals looked like, before they are in front of you. The artists will also tell you that themselves. Everything is speculation.

And I'll promise you, that the dinosaurs from Universal will never be accurate. That ship has sailed 30 years ago.

True indeed.

I dunno, Colin said that JW3 would have accurate dinos...

You've got a point, tho. Unless someone can make a time machine/ ressurect dinosaurs properly without any genetic mishaps, we'll never know what dinosaurs look like in real life.

More accurate dinosaurs are great and all, but do you think they'll make the raptors turkey size and with feathers etc? :p

I don't think they'll ever have the balls to do that. Sorry for the language. It would tear apart the whole franchise. :D

And I'm all for making the dinosaurs more accurate, but when it doesn't change a thing about the animal, I can't see why the resources should be used on this. It's such a minor detail, that no one would notice. Seems like a waste of time.

i was saying if a lion and a tiger are different actually and not for their bones it's logical think that 2 animal that have differences in their bones in life they will be so much different so why frontier even if they have the argument of they are JW/JP franchise doesnt do a good representation of the animal how they do for example the suchomimus or the giga
And just for differentiate even more from the giga if they do a little more acurate carcha yeah will be similar to the giga but will have their differences My point is they dont have necesity to change the base shape dinosaur (the bones) to differentiate it from his cousin when they are already differents.

The difference between a lion and a tiger is pretty much the same difference as the Carchar and Giga. And they also look different in the game. Just like you pointed out they should. And again almost all of the dinosaurs in the franchise are not accurate bonewise. So why change that with the Carchar. This is fiction not reality. But it is what it is... I'm leaving this thread now. It will NOT be changed, so no point to this madness.

t
the new dinosaurs wi
... you never understand me. They are differents in the game yes, but Carcharodontosaurus from tha game not represent the dinosaur aswell as the giga model who is not acurate it all but you see it and you say "yes thats a giga" you see the iguanodon and say "yes thats an iguanodon" you see the spino and say " yeah thats the JP3 spino" you see the baryonyx and say "yes thats is the JWFK baryonyx". But whit carchar i and 60% of of the people that i know say "thats a carchar? Looks weird" if yoy like the actual model ok i can't do anything against that but i can suggest and ask for little change for improve the model of any dinosaur for that is this forum. Is not a madness it's small thing that they can do for fanservice like the size buff of the giga and spino even this is smaller problem that i think they (if they do) will be a work of 10 minutes? Or maybe 30 minutes i guess and fine leave it bye, but i will ask for this till frontier say "No" or "yes"
You have problems. These are not and were not meant to be 100% accurate. They are like the dinosaurs in the films, genetic monstrosities created for a theme park. This game is not trying for realism, it is recreating the look of the films. Stop obsessing over the Carcharadontosaurus like it's a personal attack on you that it's not 100% exactly like real life (which we don't know what that was anyway since we don't have the soft tissue that covered the skull and therefore could make it look quite different from what we think it does).
