I voted to make it much longer so you can't quit and combat log. Sorry, if you're not prepared to stick around fighting the game shouldn't let you get away. There's plenty of way to avoid dying and actually losing something, or having the chance of losing something only makes game better. DayZ for example, would never have been the game it was if you didn't brutally lose everything when you died.
see you are kind of confirming my views here... as you picked another game I have zero interest in ever playing. Day Z was originally (I thought) anticipated to be a humans vs zombie game albeit with a bit of watch your back against other players and i was actually fairly interested in it back then... until it launched and it just became another randomly kill all players when ever possible game with the zombies very much a bit part role.
I am not saying it is wrong, but it is just different.
