If these did exist, we would also need either the ability to engineer module reinforcement or some utility designed specifically to counter rail gun module sniping.

My 4x rail phantom or 3x rail cutter already can destroy most of modules by few salvos
IF I can have my opponents shields down first. Extra 20 - 40 dmg would not make diffence much, maybe single salvo less,
IF we talk about modules snipe... thats only a thing
IF my opponents (or victims) are total noobs. At PVP against decent skill cmdrs things aint look so simple.
Still, high shielded full PA setups or meta FDL's are not easy to fight against with it, due of absolute type of dmg and overall higher dmg that they can done to me before I even have chance to go at module snipe. Thats quite diffrent story, pal. Also thier PA hits can reset my lock every few seconds, wich makes modules snipe even more diffcult, so I have rely more on raw dmg that I can deliver to thier hull at fire exchanges rather trying kill thier modules, while dps of mine is way weaker than PA's ones, as my shots still are affected by hull resistances, thiers not.
Thats why I belive that having extra 20-40 dmg from having 1-2 c3 rails instead of c2, would make things more evenly vs shielded PA users, compared to current state of things.
