Half the Code seems to be in Clippers now, so I wouldn't accuse anyone just based on the ship he is flying.

mobius in all fairness I don't think this was a CODE member that's doing this to you. It might well be someone saying they are. I would think if you are being hassled in game like this the CODE leadership would be very interested to hear (and see if you have picture proof of course) who that might be. Tap up anopheles on here if youve got some evidence and I'm sure he'll straighten it put.

Not that we in Contrail do much pirating - but insofar as we get into PvP, it is a fight, not screwing poor beginner traders from their hard earned cash.
Not even from our home-system. Though anyone in a Type 7 or bigger should probably stay away. Smaller fish though, more than welcome, hell we'll even protect them

There have only ever been 3 code members that checked out Mobius to see just how much fun it wasn't about 3 ,months ago. They went in, took about an hour to find someone, pirated them then came out bored.
I then asked them not to return as we don't want to spoil your little word.
If you have names of any recent code members entering your world I would like to know about it. PM me.
No, we have no affiliation with them, If we were we would say so.
We will be protecting miners in future though , when its actually profitable to do so.
Until recently we had a travel pass for the New Caribbean area, we have gone back to pirating but may re introduce the pass at a higher price at some stage. We are waiting for 1.3 to see if its worth staying in the New Caribbean area.
Code members are not at the stations in Diso. We are Hostile and can't just hang around outside. We also don't do ramming. Our objective is to try to persuade traders not to do this goal. At the same time , we are pirates so taking their cargo and selling it in Leesti is quite profitable.

The Solo/Private/Open reminds me of the situation that happened when Ultima Online split into Felucca and Trammel back in '00, in Felucca you could commit crimes, in Trammel you couldnt and the game started to suck for me playing as a thief since pretty much only thieves and murderers stuck around in Felucca.
The thing this leads to is that people that want a "smoother" ride while playing go to solo or private and the brave souls staying in open get hammered unproportionally, which leads to more people going private or solo.
I have played some of the Quivira CG in solo or private but only because the CZ was so full that it was impossible to earn anything, the moment a red showed up it was lit up.

Right, because it's totally unthinkable that people who enjoy spoiling one space game for some people would enjoy spoiling another space game for some people.
I know some of you came from EVE and were e-bullied so hard there you are emotionally scarred like a soldier who fought the entire 100 years war, but seriously, this is getting old. Every single thread about the Code here so far turned into a few anonymous players accusing them of being EVE code and not letting go for multiple pages, even though they had no proof and couldn't connect two single aliases. This is against the forum rules (Witch hunt - mob mentality) so cut it out.

If anyone is sending abuse via the in-game chat, they should be reported via the in-game systems. This forum is not the place for that.
Constant, consistent abuse is a reason for a ban to the shadow server, but FD needs to know, hence the need for reports.

What? This sounds brilliant! I really don't get some players! People are role playing its fun! I travelled 150 ly from v1688 my home to Gurney last night near lave looking for player interaction as I hardly see any in my home system. I wasn't disappointed!

Was heading to a Warzone in Gurney and I saw a few players so I hailed one to say hi and would he like to join me in a warzone. He replied with a scripted Code message about bounty hunters not being welcome here so scram! .

Cool I thought! So I replied 'Come get some if you fancy your chances!' Both of us were Masters flying Vultures so it would be a historical fight! He ignored me and jumped away. I jumped to the nearest warzone and I found him on my side lucky for both of us I guess?!

I had a chat with him and KWS scanned him and saw he had about 200k bounty on him and he was wanted I told him he had a nice bounty and that later on I might take it from him. He tells me he has been trying to change system to Anarchy. I had noticed the space station I was at was Anarchy already so looks like that's the Codes plan. I said I was looking for PVP and he suggested I could get plenty of that in the Code.

I would join the Code but if I do then who am I going to fight in PVP? Not you bunch that's for sure hiding in solo! So I will probably stand up for democracy and order and take my chances against the Code! If anyone is like minded And wants to help let me know and also I am happy to escort traders through these code systems in Wings, just add me to your friends list.

But keep in mind: whats fun for you is not fun for everybody. People are diffrent and enjoy diffrent things, that maybe explains a lot. I for example cannot find any fun in PvP.
