Colonia trip with my new Fleet Carrier Navigation Computer

Well... not exactly. At least as I understood his explanation, that's only the flight route which is then copied as .csv file into Kuif's software, isn't it ?

Correct... Plot a route on Spansh Fleet Carrier Route planner, export it in a CSV file and upload this in a Windows program. Press the button Start Navigation and the Windows program is starting to coordinate the jumps and refuels. The Windows program runs in the background and the Elite Dangerous game is active in the foreground all the time

Cant the automate LTD mining @ new Borann? I want to just fly a shield tank cutter miner there, and set it to auto, and let it prospect and collect LTD all by itself, the auto fly to the best sell price selling station, auto fuelscooping on the way, auto doc, auto sell, auto limpet and fuel restock, auto repair if needed. the auto jump back to the new borann rings.

Then i will manually fly it to the hotspot zone, and set it on auto again, i dont want to be lazy!!! All in solo of course.

If you can do something with a keyboard or mouse click, you can automate it. Has always been like that. Voice attack has been plotting routes for me since 2014.

Am not losing sleep over anyone that chooses to abuse it. Imo, automating those simple carrier clicks every 20 mins is not a big deal.

Yes CMDR’s, another “I’m going to Colonia with the Fleet Carrier and who wants to join” post ;)

I made the trip to Colonia before in the BETA 2 and the functionality that I was missing the most was to be able to schedule multiple jumps with the FC. That’s why I build my own Navigation Computer that can autonomously jump the carrier as far as the tritium in the tank and hold allows it to jump.
I tested the Navigation Computer with some short trips (5 to 7 consecutive 500 LY jumps) the last couple of hours to sort out the bugs in the programming. It looks like it’s ready for it’s first big test, 44 jumps from Diso to Colonia.
So anybody interested in joining (with a fleet) to Colonia to test the Navigation Computer? I will depart in about 24 hours from Diso on Monday afternoon 15th of June at 20:00 local Spanish time (18:00 UTC). Total trip of 44 jumps will take about 15 hours (if the navigation software is not glitching). The carrier will stay in and around Colonia for a week and will return somewhere on or after next weekend. Carrier is in the Diso system at the moment and will stay there till tomorrow.

CMDR: Kuif
Carrier Name: Black Pearl - ID: (V20-J1M)
Active modules: Refuel, Repair, Armoury, Shipyard

Although I have enough Tritium for the journey any donation of tritium is welcome. I will open up a cheap buy order for Tritium for CMDR’s that like to donate for the trip.

Let me know in this thread if you are joining or send a friend request in game

when you are serious with your question, you can watch video of someone playing....

If fuel Carriers running out to the various DSSA sites can be automated, it's possible that Tritium might be made available in the black for prices that are less than insane.

You are not buying Tritium, you are buying Time, that you don't want to mine for it! Lazy git.

Yes, the scarcity of tankers selling fuel is what drives the prices up. The DSSA carriers I have seen out in the black are selling very high, understandably so. I'm just glad I tankered up the exact amount (cheap) for my entire tour.

God no, we can't have this happening! We would miss the deeply meaningful and important gameplay involved in waiting for timers to expire and then clicking "Set Jump" on the next target system.

When are you leaving?
Me ! :) But you already know that... ;)

Just don't leave before this evening around 18.00 UTC...

I'm done with my business here in Colonia. Unlocked all the Engineers and currently doing some sightseeing. Tritium is to expensive here so no Nav Computer testing, just have enough to get back 😇

Thinking about leaving Friday evening (18:00 UTC)

Eager to test the computer on the route back...

Ok plenty of time. Some passengers on my ship might need a lift back, looks like I'll be staying here a while due to a computer problem. I'll let them know.

Btw, you can make 225 million credits hauling Tritium back to the bubble. Prices are expensive in Colonia, but you can still get 25,000cr/t profit on it back in the bubble. Food for thought. Check inara for buy/sell locations.

Ah Ok, that time would suit me well. So two tickets please. :)

I could contribute to the tritium stock before, no problem. Alternatively after we've arrived in the bubble, as you like. Just let me now.

I have enough to get to the Bubble and the less weight the less consumption of Tritium ;) . Better stock up in the Bubble than around Colonia.

Yes, you're welcome, have the Shipyard installed. No outfitting but that one can be installed on request.
No outfitting needed, I just want to bring back the small subset of my fleet that I had shipped out here. I road a FC to Colonia, so I'm looking forward to riding another home :D
