Thanks for the answers. I was a bit confused. I had my Apollo Orbis Station done yesterday but its still in Deployment while the 2 Settlements i built after were finished instantly.
They are like the ones in the pre-Trailblazer established systems now, jumping off points, just signifiers that players can drop a beacon within 16ly and they will head out there.Has anyone worked out what purpose is served by System Colonisation Ships in already-inhabited systems? I docked at one out of curiosity, and that's all I could do there. They don't even provide R/R/R.
Do the settlements have missions on offer from the factions, yet? My station didn't show any missions, but I haven't finished a ground settlement yet. Thanks for the answers. I was a bit confused. Has anyone built a successful refinery facility that you can dock at that isn't a t3 Planetary port? The refinery under hubs is the horizon settlement even though in the Nav Panel it states it has appropriate landing pads and activity is trade
We've had a report that the cost in commodities is higher for some people than for others for the same type of facility. Could be to do with Pilot's Federation ranking, perhaps Trade PF ranking. Has anyone else seen this?
Native factions can't be kicked out of a system.
Is it definite that the founding faction is native?
Sadly no. The inhabitants also treat you like some random weirdo that shouldn't walk around there. Its pretty dissapointing.Do the settlements have missions on offer from the factions, yet? My station didn't show any missions, but I haven't finished a ground settlement yet.
No, but I believe it's definite that they are NOT native:Native factions can't be kicked out of a system.

You can test this by aligning a squadron to the faction, which will tell you what its home system is, but the quick answer is "no faction is native to the colonised system"
Factions can only have one home system.
Colonisation doesn't create any new factions at all.
Therefore the faction's home system isn't ever going to be the newly colonised system.
More factions might come to the system in time... from other nearby systems. Like what happened in Colonia. Though I doubt if most places will have as much concentrate effort at BGS as Colonia attracted.I heard none of the factions are counted as native. Any of them can be kicked out. But keep in mind, with 3 or less factions, barring any pending a retreat, they cannot be retreated.

I am having the same issue, I am hoping it's a bug that will be fixed. It's a tier 2 building seems odd I can dock at my tier 1 mine but not my tier 2 refinery. Also the refineries already in the bubble are dockable so why should we not be able to dock and buy aome cmm composite.Has anyone built a successful refinery facility that you can dock at that isn't a t3 Planetary port? Has anyone seen this bug?
I have also read about sistems becoming "Invalid" for colonization, after teh beacon was deployed, after colonization ship had arrived, and goods being delivered already.
- My colony sytem: ALBUS
- All good with the beacon deployment.
- Completed the first small Outpost successfully, and renamed it successfully (Sisters Base).
- Started three new construction sites, all three of them installations.
- Completed my first installation today, a Satellite (Collins Beacon).
- Other two installations still to go (Orbital Construction Site: Black Enterprise) (Orbital Construction Site: Mesa's Progress).
- I quit ED
- I return to ED
- My colony sytem ALBUS is now showing as a "Previously Established Inhabited System", not my colony anymore.
- Dispite of that, all previous construction work I put in the system is still there.
- And I still can visit, and dock, and deliver goods, to the two pending installations.
- In the map, the yellow icon that was showing before (representing I am its architect) is now gone.
How come? Anyone else? Any tips?
Thanks folks

This has happened to me twice now. Quitting the game and restarting fixed it the first time, but the second time it hasn't worked, despite quitting and restarting twice now.
It's very disconcerting.
Best to put in a support ticket, before the tick if possible in case it affects any completed assets.Has anyone seen this bug?

The galaxy map is now showing a lot of red crosses and solid triangles (where before they were new colonies):

No cake, either.Keep in mind for the moment, even if a structure says it has landing pads, if its an installation, the landing pad is a lie.
Yesterday I had these purple triangles on the Galmap and "Previously Established Inhabited System" when plotting a jump rather than showing the number of jumps. This has happened to me twice now. Quitting the game and restarting fixed it the first time, but the second time it hasn't worked, despite quitting and restarting twice now.
