Claiming I don't read the threads isn't helpful, or true.
Of your list:
• Mining, at least related to construction I'd get over it if this was added as a way to reasonably progress a colonization effort. (You can already mine for water and copper, but no one can reasonably claim it's worth the effort in comparison to buying and hauling what's needed)
• Combat, completely unrelated to construction hard pass.
• NPC fleets, so you're looking to make elite an AFK progression mobile game? This just doesn't fit, and it shouldn't be made easier to colonize systems. This'll be unpopular but I believe that, if anything, it should take more effort to get done & any changes to the system need to be carefully balanced to ensure it's still a large endgame undertaking.
• Play employment, if you're paying attention this is already an option. At least three new player communities have been started in the last month for this express purpose. An in-game way to offer rewards for assistance to other players for their help would be welcome.
• every other suggestion still just boils down to: "wahhh! I dislike hauling; so the new feature haulers got should be made available to me without the hauling requirement." They also all disregard that communities of players will haul for hire. See the folks at project IDA or F.R.E.I.G.H.T. or the System Colonization Contractors.
