I think one of the best ways you can show your appreciation and present an olive branch to us is to give more info On the carriers.. Like how much they'll cost, how many of our ships can we store on the carriers.
I'm trying to stay optimistic here alright?

Yet, give them time. I am happy that the bugs are gonna be worked on tho so thumbs up to the team for that.
Don't understand the utter nonsense that goes on at frontier. They have a great game and instead of building on the foundation of this great game, they make bad decisions after bad decisions. Its a space game. GIve us atmosphere on the planets, and more ships. They could shut more than half of us up by giving us more ships and addressing the grossly underpaid bounty hunting and mission rewards. DO that and keep us happy while you work on fleet carriers , space legs, etc. And liven up your streams for gods sake.
I never get the feeling the people on your streams even play the same game im playing.
Great game and as a fairly new VR player i will say that nothing compares the the immersion with elite and VR. Great Game but could really jump to the next level if handled properly IMO. ANd ARX was a

Don't mind a fleet carrier delay if it means Elite Dangerous becomes more stable and has less bugs. I would like to see some Guardian modules to get us by until fleet carriers are release. Like the Guardian FSD, thrusters, shield generator and maybe a Guardian/human hybrid ship.

Yes, that issue tracker is rubbish.
I already have a Cobra Mk4 BECAUSE I ALREADY PAID THEM FOR MY CARRIER 2 YEARS AGO.
This is all good news. I don't mind the delay in the carriers for fixing bugs and giving more stability to the game. Fleshing out details and repairing long standing issues is far more important than releasing new content on top of old problems. Now if we can also get a functional UI database system akin to EDDiscovery and Trade Market Extension to provide in game the elements which make the game more enjoyable and provide better player interaction with the game along with these bug fixes that'd be wonderful.
Nice display of transparency also. Its good to see Fdev beginning to communicate more with us, leaving the players in silence is not conducive to a positive community. Keep us updated, Keep us in the loop even when you have to delay, even when you make a mistake. We'll appreciate and respect you more for it.

I thought that "small content patches" it means fix bugs....fleet carrier was not just the opposite?, the big update of the year ?-it must even be written somewhere ...
i can see sometimes, frontier is like that bad guy ,who keeps his partner happy with false promises and saying that they are excited about the future, although there are never many changes ,it´s a bit wicked.
Part of the "community" of this forum (not all game) is like the poor girl, they've lied to you so many times that you think it's normal.(Its also happens in reverse too).
I hope that frontier realizes that time is worth more gold than a thousand microtransactions, it is not even normal that there are only less than 40 ships in 6 years, but yourself.
I will continue playing, but I also have no problem abandoning it for a while ,you will not see in me a goodbye letter or dramatic things.
Well, I'll withhold judgement until I see what kind of bugfix updates the live game team can deliver, how many fixes and improvements they can implement. Three-four months between bugfix updates sounds too long though.
Still, at least there's one good thing in this announcement: that they finally said a date about when they'll say what the next expansion is going to be.

Fleet carriers was supposed to be like 1/5 of the 3.3 update. For me that's a small content update.
I welcome improving/ fixing the game but they could water down some of the salt by giving us more information on the FC's, ship numbers, jumps before refueling etc etc. I know that would make some happier, but not all, there's still gonna be some throwing their toys out the pram, moaning changes nothing.
Thanks for the update, Will. I think this is a brilliant move to get the current issues with the game fixed before adding fleet carriers to the mix. And hurrah to you all for bringing back the betas!
