I do, I actually use a mid-range laptop and it holds up pretty well. Is it lagging just since you started screen recording, or does it always do that? I'm sure it will all come out fine in the wash, nothing has to be perfectDo you use a windows computer? I do and it’s been lagging a little bit when I’m building but not too much as to make it unplayable. I figure it’ll even out when I speed It up.
Only when I'm recording. It's a brand new save, so the only thing I can think of is that its the recording. What're you using to record? And also, what's your RAM?Only when I'm recording. It's a brand new save, so the only thing I can think of is that its the recording. But oh well, I'm sure it'll be fine
The odd stutter is normal for most people, but laggy gameplay on a computer that should run the game fine is not. Maybe your graphics card driver needs to be reinstalled, if using recording software then it could too heavy for computer, you could have other programs open that shouldn't, or maybe your computer is really dusty slowing down the processor due to thermal throttling.Do you use a windows computer? Speaking of, when's episode 2 of your series? You could experiment with a couple of different screen recorders? Maybe do a test run so that when you're building yoi feel fully comfortable. I use OBS Studio, should have recommended that one above, sorry! I was away from my computer and couldn't remember which one I used but I found it worked well. I think the gameplay/footage came out just the tiniest bit laggy but not enough to bother me.
The Xbox Game bar recorder that comes with the computer, no clue what my RAM is lolWhat're you using to record? And also, what's your RAM?
I would describe it more as a stutter. I can build perfectly fine with it and there are no real spikes, it just lags a little. I have a Radeon card also. The odd stutter is normal for most people, but laggy gameplay on a computer that should run the game fine is not. For recording software with little performance impact, I recommend using nvidia's shadowplay from the geforce experience app if you are using an nvidia graphics card. That's what I use and doesn't affect performance at all.
The Xbox game bar is known for it's performance issues, it could do for now but if you intend to make many videos for YouTube I would look into a proper recording software. The normal lag spike could be made worse using that recorder but speeding up gameplay basically removes all lag anyway. I do like 8x speed so laggy performance at any stage is impossible to see.The Xbox Game bar recorder that comes with the computer, no clue what my RAM is lol

Odd. I use the Game Bar and it runs fine, but maybe because I also enhance it with Wondershare video editing (I can boost the FPS up to 60, I think. It may not be the best, but it's good for meThe Xbox Game bar recorder that comes with the computer, no clue what my RAM is lol
Desktop. I'll see if I can fix it with the graphics card settings later today. But if not its still completely playable so yeah.@Orkan , are you on laptop or desktop? Because if it's a laptop, it's much more difficult to upgrade it. It's possible, but you're more likely to mess something up (I'm not saying YOU will, I mean in general the hardware is kinda fused together)
Desktops are much more versatile, which is why I upgraded to one (but I'm cheap, so I didn't buy a new one, I got it in an auction from the medical/school district)
Give OBS Studio a try, I asked some content creators what they use and they all recommended this one. It's free. Here ya go - https://obsproject.com/Desktop. I'll see if I can fix it with the graphics card settings later today. But if not its still completely playable so yeah.
Great! We'll do this one first and then see if you'd like to join in next timeThis all sounds like something I could be interested in, but that would depend on my availability.
Haha, good question! And thanks for askingSpeaking of, when's episode 2 of your series?
Yes.
Yay cool! Would you like to join the Rainforest House build? Rules are:Yes.![]()
I'm not the best builder but I could join on especially Wednesday.
