Can't believe TCE isn't in your list yet ! Check this out :

Eventure's TRADE COMPUTER EXTENSION

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=103401
Check the first page and the link to Yokai's guide on it for full instructions.

There is nothing else quite like it.

The in-game overly feels like it is native to the game !

and it's private data, as (I think) frontier's dev's intended.
(nothing stopping you to use it in conjunction with other crowd source tools if that is your wish thought)

You need a fully updated copy of Microsoft Excel to run it and the free Access Runtime for your version.
But it is well worth buying excel for !!!
Enjoy !

Not sure if it was on the public TODO list but it was on A TODO list somewhere. Indeed a very good tool especially the overlays.

The 3rd party tools list a coming to live. I will be adding it to the WIP version of it. When it will be released (could be a few weeks) it WILL be on it.

Edit: Added to the WIP tool.

Edit2: While checking this thread for all entries it turned out I made a post for it but I didn´t had time to put in on the TODO list, my bad...

This one is a similar thread, probably not the original though.
Updated Permit List - https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=122593

Thanks a lot. I will add it directly to the WIP tools/threads tool. Much appreciated.

The tool is getting MUCH more functionality then I anticipated. All thanks to the coding done by biobob- and his suggestions ;-)

Added the 9th of April to the WIP 3rd party list tool.

Comments: By the author: I made this opensource front end tool in C# for working with Oliver's awesome Trade Dangerous route planning tool. It started as a replacement for batch files and copying command lines, and quickly grew over a few days to nearly full support for most use cases of the Run and Buy/Sell commands. I hope it can be useful for anyone else who juggles multiple trade routes while also doing missions in between.

The ED wiki [ link ] has space at least, although it won't help with rest databasing. Maybe a good medium solution?

Any other Commanders able to lend the Wolverine2710 a hand, in migrating his standard Third Party Tool Descriptions to the wiki, so he doesn't have to do the whole thing single handed??

Winterwalker Enterprises (my roleplay) is sponsoring a small but interesting prize to the most effective assistance.

Well I'm sure biobob is very interested in the small but interesting price ;-)
He totally deserves it.Like I wrote earlier he's doing the coding for the WIP third party list tool.

You can remove the comment on "Miscellaneous/galnewsreader" by the way, and I just added the option to get the weekly summary from Frontier's Newsletter :)

Comment has been removed on the OP and the weekly summary added. Also changed in the WIP 3rd party list tool - here also a new thread link has been created.

Status WIP 3rd party list tool. The base is there wrt entering new entries (tools/threads). Still a LOT of work to be done by biobob wrt coding functionality. Its shaping up quite nicely. Hopefully all the hard work pays of and you commanders will find the tool useful.

How many entries are NOW in the tools database:
Tools: 49
Threads (inclusive guides): 41.

I still have to go through this thread once again. I estimate it will reveal 5-10 more tools. After that the "crowd sourcing 3D coords" thread have to be checked as well as the EDDN thread. I know there are quite a few/lot entries there in the last two mentioned threads.

If you have tools/threads to report. Please do so. They will be added to the database before the tool is released. NOW is your change!!!

Holy updates batman! The wolvie has been busy. :D

The Ol' Canucklehead aka Wolverine aka wolvie (for fiends) aka wolvster aka Patch aka Logan aka James Howlett (comics character real name) appreciates your kind words. You are lucky that you have earned Wolverine´s trust otherwise three items per hand (see avatar) would have (very vry slowly) come your way - SNIKT!!

When all goes well a lot more updates will happen today - thanks to the ease of use of the tool. Tomorrow I will be out of the country for 10 days. Biobob will use the time to enhance the website further...... I´m soooo curious what the state of the project with codename ED3PTT (see OP) will be when I return. If the last week is any indication I probably will be blown away - in a good way ;-)

Still out of the country.

A bit like "Quickly find all Frontier Developer posts" of the previous post but with a different layout and no greasemonkey script needed.
It display quite a bit less historical data. It can be found here.

This a real GEM. I wish I had found it earlier before it did get snowed under in the forums. DO check this gem out!!!

Put here so I don´t forget it. Later will be put on the TODO list.

20150410: Added to the WIP tool which has a codename ED3PTT (see OP).

Comment: I can´t find the dev feed back. Perhaps it has changed. Still a very nice resource for ED related information.

Tool: Quickly find all Frontier Developer posts
It needs greasemonkey for Firefox and something similar for Chrome. It also contains a RSS feed. So no need for greasemoneky like addons BUT of course you need a RSS program like Bamboo (FF). Afaik it contains the COMPLETE list of dev posts !!

Put here so I don´t forget it. Later will be put on the TODO list.

This is brilliant. Have some rep and please pass on to all those who built these tools.

Thanks for the rep. Humbly accepted. You might want to rep +1 biobob as well. He´s is the genius behind creating ED3PTT (codename). Also he has created this very nice tool. See: [Tools] ED-Board - Webapp + Overwolf plugin - A log book application (& a little more) for Cmdr. Website can be found here. You can rep +1 him in his thread ;-)

Edit: Biobob tools is ofc on ED3PTT as well. He has created the entry himself ;-)
