I’d probably have your same list but remove rockhopper for green sea turtle. But man that hurts. Ideally I’d like those 5 plus Gerenuk, walrus, and sea turtle but you can’t win them all
Sea turtles involve certain inherent problems they'll either need to overcome or simply not implement into the game. For one, it's literally impossible to breed them in captivity... they always lay their eggs in the same place they were born and that can't be done in a zoo. Then there's the fact that, outside of laying eggs and heading to the ocean after hatching, sea turtles are 100% fully aquatic... until they implement the means of caring for animals that never leave the water once they're in it, we can't actually care for them.
This is false and outdated. A zoo in Japan has bred hawksbill sea turtles in captivity. Sea turtles rest on land more than they thought in the past. And they could easily code them to spend more time in water and keep the mechanics as in in Planet Zoo
I know for sure that at least green sea turtles do actively spend time on land outside of breeding it just isnt common on mainland beaches only safer islands.
Also we have at least one animal that we dont even know what the babies look like let alone how they breed and others who have successfully bred in captivity less than a handful of times so breeding has never been a consideration by frontier.

I think you could definitely do a Coastal Animal Pack with this:
- Green Sea Turtle
- Macaroni Penguin
- Southern Elephant Seal
- Australian Pelican
- Marine Iguana
- Cuban Crocodile
- Roseate Spoonbill
- Exhibit Animal fish

I think Coastal pack is very doable and possible, I just think that Sea Turtle doesn't fit in classical Zoo roster without other aquarium species.
But as SanRazo said, to each their own, I have no greater rationale behind my opinion. Just the vibe
Any body parts, colors, and designs that make Indian subspecies different from the rest?
Javan rhino weren't in captivity, and know why? And even if it'll to be there, so should Sumatran one too so that game could have all rhino species.

An ever hotter take by my part is that if i could choose, the only subspecie of leopard i would have, would be either the Persian or Arabic one.
I'm saying this because these two particular subspecies have a niche that aren't filled by any species ingame, unlike the African and Amur ones, we currently lack desert cats (mainly big ones) and a proper temperate eurasia cat, things that Persian and Arabic do.
Of course, now that African and Amur are here i believe the doors for any other big cat are permanently closed, just saying i would rather having one of the two arabic ones than the current ones.
