Console Profile Transfers and 2022 Updates

Speaking about merges, if and when can we expect the PC clients to merge so we have one unified galaxy again?
Believe it was mentioned on the stream that a free Horizons copy is included for the new PC profile.

Devs have done an amazing job to get the console transfer to be able to do what has so far been identified as possible.
The roadmap highlights there is life in the old dog yet, and cant wait to see where this story goes........ hoping for thargoid fps combat, and big thargoid motherships

First YT TL : DW is already up from DTEA. In summary it's one massive gut punch of frustration.
Unlike FS where pretty much everything that could be known about flying is already known, for Elite there's a whole lot of stuff that could come that they cannot spoil by saying anything about it now. That's what I took from what Arthur was saying. Content based on story progression which they cannot tell us about or mention on a roadmap.

As a premium beta and explorer, one of the most important things I expected from EDO was overall quality planetary graphics. Unfortunately planetary graphics quality was reduced, and from what I read in the updates, there is currently no hope of it being fixed. If they ever fix/upgrade the planetary graphics, I will once more return to play.

NB : I almost want to tell you : put us paid ships if it can help you add new ships ...
if you need more money, I am one of the players ready to pay subscriptions and ships regularly for the game that I respect is evolving correctly.
But please, don't sell us a corpse ... Added economic model to the Star Citizen but please offer us something regular.

Question, I do have a console account. But I exclusively play on PC now. Will there be an option to opt for the old liquidation model and have the credits applied to my existing PC account?

when someone should buy elite on consoles, there is no split on the versions. You have just only horizon. Fairly spoken, this is no goody to me.

But the development roadmap is very sad. That’s not much above maintenance mode.
As for the one major feature overhaul, there are several major features that need an overhaul. But my guess is it’s Exobiology as the developers for that completely whiffed it with the mini game that had to be emergency deleted. That’s an entire rank that has no real gameplay.

Wouldn’t you have had to do that on console anyway?!?
No. Think of it as if you went out and bought a brand new copy of Horizons on PC, except you get to start with the same stuff you have on your console account.
Looks like console commanders get a complimentary horizons pc account, most everything transferred and after that can play two accounts, one on pc and the other on console. To me that seems like a fair effort on FDev's part.

Carriers have unique IDs tied to the cmdr account
They may copy your data, but that data will be synced with a new account which would need it's own carrier with its specific carrier id.
So you'd probably get refunded the carrier value for your new account and you can purchase a carrier for that account
