And these things happened in the past - people are known not to read the fine prints. Or not to read even less fine prints :D
Or simply read and not understand...

Just look at the simple things like where are my CG rewards? 😂

I'm not saying their communications was not flawed (it was) but the official stream is, well, official. The statement was done (also one about keeping CG on consoles for the time being), and I would invite everyone interested to go and have a look.

The official stream was anounced on the forum, but not posted. It's on twitch, and I think they also have a youtube channel.

Console development is cancelled & Frontier are now looking into options for possibly transferring console accounts to PC

Sorry to ask a somewhat obvious question... but what was "announced" during the stream related to account transfer? Couldn't get it from the replies...

They are working on a full account transfer, but no promises. It's a "big" thing with lot of work. Meanwhile, traditional transfer (the one that transferred your wealth only) has been put on hold to prevent frustrations from console player who would use it now, if the full account transfer is made possible.
CG and their rewards will keep running on Consoles for the time being, if that was to change, they'll tell us.

Not the exact words, but what I remember being said.

It sucks donkey balls they didn't make a proper post with all infos right after Braben letter, but it is what it is.

This doesn't really answer the question though. What I'm asking is what 'looking into it' means and how long will that take? Some people think it means one thing and some people think another. Some people think that anything other than the most vague information puts the company at risk of a share price crash and litigation from one of the most powerful corporations in the world. Maybe they are right, maybe Fdev has to mushroom us because their very existance is under threat if they give too much away. Or, maybe they are really bad at communicating and they have just dropped the ball and the whole situation could have been far better handled and better communicated. I guess we will never know, we are left to inane speculation.

Can't give exact wording but didn't Arf said something about listening to feedback & posts regarding account transfer.

They probably don't know how long it's going to take either. Especially if I'm right and talks are involved. And if they give an hypothetical ETA, people will lose their mind if they can't do it in time.
They said it was a "lot of work".

They said something to the effect, 'all transfers are kind of on hold'. Thats pretty much word for word as I recall but I stand to be corrected. However, I can't be corrected because they haven't written it down anywhere so no-one can provide an actual quote.

Maybe there might be more news during the livestream later......................................or maybe they'll just be saying " No further news to give you yet on consoles";)

Fair enough. It was no skin off my nose personally, as a PC user from the start, I just noted the absence of a discussion on consoles outside the rarely visited News & Bulletins, and asked about it, when no-one else did.

I hope I'm man enough to admit that it would take a lot to drag me off these two boards, when they take up enough time, as it is.

We've already watched the YouTube program. If you want to prove your point post a link to the section where Arthur says what you claim he says. I don't believe that you can do it because he didn't say half the things you attribute to him. He litterally mumbled something about transfer being kind of on hold. I'm not sure how it could be any more vague, why say 'kind of on hold'?

Arf's actual wording was that "Frontier are currently investigating how they do that" - in relation to console to PC transfers.......it's taken from 17mins into the twitch stream from last week
