Having sniffed through the Coalsack region, there are two blue (O or B) stars that have Volcanic HMCs : HIP 62711 and HIP 65021. Both have their HMC decently close from the star so that it may be eclipsed kinda like in the screenshot...
Imma now start sniffing through the lower classes of stars (A and F) to see if i can find some more interesting systems...

With that audio from Twitter I'd say we have to check all geological sites in/around coalsack to find the dude
My theory is that FDev released this in binary to look similar to what we see in-game without a Xeno scanner. The message is what the thargoid is communicating that "He (Murphy) is watching the stones" Like, they were watching him studying geology.
Goof luck with that - there are a lot.

5 characters are unknown. It is 99.9% that message though.Someone mentioned this on Discord earlier. It's believed to be normal yes, quite possibly just noticing things more at the moment
Someone pointer out that the last 16 digits of the highlighted numbers form the 2 float numbers 140.5 and -3.4
