If anyone has been having performance issues with CPU dependent settings (crowd quality especially) on a Ryzen part, you may want to take a look at this: https://videocardz.com/newz/cyberpunk-2077-gets-fps-boost-with-a-patch-for-amd-ryzen-cpus
Hi all. Been away for a while and just got re-united with my gaming rig (and electricity) for the first time since July. How is Cyberpunk stacking up in the open world immersion department? Will my rig run it competently, specs to follow: screen 1440p--1080ti gpu--32 gigs ddr4 RAM--i7-9820x cpu?
Hope you've all had a fantastic year!!!
Are you doing a certain hotel mission?
I mean, seriously? I can't use boosters during combat? Is this right?
@Juniper another alternative (just in case the trainer you found doesn't work) is reloading a save previous to the hotel mission, and do more side jobs until your character is more "beefed up". Like in previous CDPR games, the NPCs do not scale up to your level ( and NPCs in higher threat level missions do not scale down either) so any particular mission will become easier the later in the game you do it.
But certain parts are closed off, and I assume that is because I haven't been progressing the story much during that time - so, I thought I'd better get to it. My mistake.![]()
Not sure if I even have an earlier save I can return to, but if not, and the trainer doesn't work, I'll probably end up just restarting from scratch. I'm not too far in anyway.
For the All Foods mission (if it's the mission you get from Dex), the best alternative is to do it peacefully...talk to the Corpo agent in your phone, get the credit chip and do it that way. There's always a raft of alternatives to getting the guns out for practically every mission, it's very Deus Ex in that respect. I swindled the Corpo woman out of her credits by hacking the card then double crossed Royce by killing him during the price haggling, got the bot and kept all the cashTBH, it feels like so long since I went 'outside', I've forgotten.
It's "All Foods". If that's the hotel mission, involving a high tech bot you're supposed to obtain, then yes.
I've found a trainer, and I'm going to try it again later giving me infinite health just to get out of this place. Then I'll turn it off.![]()

Like i said above, the immersion is up to par with Warren Spector + Paul Neurath games such as Deus Ex. Fantastic. The city is truly alive, packed with stories and events. Missions are intense and can be nerve wracking at times (that "hotel mission" has, let's say, some very tense moments).Hi all. Spoiler ahead for those who didnt do the Dex quest line yet: Did you clear the virus from the chip ? If not indeed the shooting will start really quickly for an obvious reason. If you want a mostly peaceful exit you should hack the chip before giving it, as the gang members will side with you and mostly take care of the fight.Yeah I did that (or thought I did), gave the heid honcho the credit chip, everyone turns 'nice', and then next thing I know I'm suddenly having to shoot my way out.![]()
Grenades do have an indicator on screen, this one should mean "side step the hell out of there, now !". But again if you are having trouble against these, no need trying to go any further there is an "end boss" that will decimate you unless you side with the gang - and even so you better pack EMP grenades. If you dont like shooting, i suggest going the Netrunner way (intelligence stat) and hack everything, including your opponents cyberware, which you can damage pretty heavily that wayI've also tried the katana, and that drops enemies pretty quickly, but you have to get close to them to do that and they kill me before I get a chance. One time I was hiding with Jackie, and then I hear him say "Really? A grenade?". BOOOOOOM! Dead.
The game is so stupidly popular that the Steam trading cards sell like hotcakes. Just made €2 back selling 3 of them.
I didn't even realise you could sell them, only realised a few weeks ago. Up to £8 at the moment. All from £0.01 - £0.14 trades![]()
