Regarding the population levels, the ELW or WW are what matters the most.
My main system doesn't have any ELW or WW, but I do have 1 Orbis, 3 Coriolis, 5 orbital outposts, and 3 t1 ground ports. With all of these + 40 other assets built already, I'm only at 31.9 million.
Can you share WW system pop? I know ELW gives huge pop boost (i seen 1.1 billion pop player colonized system), but i haven't seen colonized water worldsWhat's the relative effect of WW vs ELW?
Can anyone find a pair of player-colonized systems that are relatively similar in assets but with one having a WW and one having an ELW? I haven't been able to despite looking around. I found a Coriolis around a WW and a T3 around an ELW, if anyone can find the reverse of those for comparison.

It's not bad or good, you're probably at Low Security which means you have access to the Interstellar Factor so you can remove any fine/bounty.Is -2 security bad compared to 0 or +1 ?
6 ports receive the mysterious 1 weak industry linkcan you provide a location and the economy proportions for the port receiving the weak link?
One option would be to build the primary port as a T3. It's a pain but it will soak up all the weak links wont it? Any other T3 build later is newer and so all the weak links will still go to the first one, while the newr t3 will only get the strong links from the body it's around? It is not that safe if your plan involves T2/3 Colony structures that require other things built in the system (because of the build points). As my intent was to have it there as my primary long-term build with an agriculture/hi-tech economy and high security status, it's not one I'm putting up to chance. I suppose I could put down the Ody settlements I want in place but, dunno. I might as well do the work on other less "important" things like smaller-scale local refineries (I would need anyway to build out the area I am in) with a system design that should theoretically be stable regardless of most changes, by being a single economy type with no other weak links.
Isn’t that only the case around the same/local body? One option would be to build the primary port as a T3. It's a pain but it will soak up all the weak links wont it? Any other T3 build later is newer and so all the weak links will still go to the first one, while the newr t3 will only get the strong links from the body it's around?
Your industrual outpost built under your colony outpost emits a weak link to everything in system,as listed on the update picture.6 ports receive the mysterious 1 weak industry link
Listing the economies of all would be tedious, so just 1 example:
T2 Coriolis, orbiting HIP 69838 4E,
currently called "Waldeck Horizons",
ref 3.4, agri 1.65, terr 1.0, mil 0.25, extr 0.15, ht 0.1, ind 0.05
And the reversal of your question is probably the answer to my question (whodunnit!?):
Ports that are receiving a weak link are probably not emitting it.
2 of 8 ports do not receive the mysterious 1 weak industry link:
The funny old/young 2 T1 vulcan orbiting the same body, HIP 69838 3A, mentioned in the my post you cited.
The older port is currently called Wythe Point, ind 2.2, mil 0.25, agri 0.25, extr 0.15, ref 0.1, ht 0.1
The younger port is currently called Langsdorff Beacon, pure ind 1.4
Either one could emit the weak link,
but the unusual behaviour of pure ind 1.4 makes Langsdorff Beacon a more likely source.
Yeah can confirm, I built two Commercial outposts over a water world specifically to test this. Each got Tourism 1.40, Agriculture 1.00 at first, and then the second passed two strong links to the first for a total of Tourism 2.20, Agriculture 1.40.Has anyone seen actual proof of colony-type orbital stations creating links to other stations? I can't see how it's possible when they don't have carry any economic influence.
Seems the only way for now is to use a planner like this one to figure it out. Doesn't appear to be data-scrapable, it's server-side. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/1jkjl25/v3_of_the_colonization_construction_spreadsheet/Hi guys, I'm sure that's been covered in the... 151 pages of this thread, but could anyone point me in the right direction for finding the current system tech level, development level, etc..
I can see how much each construction increments a given level, but I don't know where to find that famous (for ex.) "35 tech level".... Is it in the game files? Where?
Thanks a lot
