Paying for ability to test 'betas'? Seriously?
I already paid £ 40 to test your 'released version' that by all means is nothing more than late alpha or very early beta.
So i guess you're not setting the navigation plotter to FASTEST ROUTE then from its default ECONOMICAL ROUTE then?
Wait, I have to PURCHASE beta access? You should be paying ME to test your product, you money-grubbing things!
I ALREADY PAID FOR A FLAWED PRODUCT!!!
Collaborating with other players, as in doing missions together and such? because that's really all missing so far?The first planned significant update will be 1.1 and will enter beta in the first week of February. We’ll be talking next week about how 1.1 will introduce a new way to collaborate with other players in the galaxy in preparation for 1.2’s major Wings update. We have some some good news for planners of long journeys - V1.1 will also have a significant increase in the maximum distance for the route planner. We’re currently looking at extending this to 1,000 light years!

I'm the exception it seems - I'm more than happy to pay for beta access.
I assume that it comes with the other beta benefits - 25% off insurance, free eagle for new starts, etc?
As long as the price is close to the difference between the release and the beta versions (~£10?) I don't have a problem with this.
The rage-fuelled tears of the latecomers taste exquisite. Make them pay double!
We aren't planning an autopilot.

Dont know if it has been asked, but, will betatesters get a separate commander to test everything? i dont wanna use my real commander in an environment that is potentially unstable.
I'm much more interested in new ships being added than new multiplayer feautures, but of well.
